We need to capitalize more on the news paper thing...I know its not something original to LSU but we are one of the only schools which continuously uses it.

Would be tight on Saturday to see the ENTIRE pmac have a piece of news paper...

Don't listen to the haters. Do what you do to get stuff pumped up. At the same time, if the other students aren't getting into what y'all are doing and you want a more cohesive atmosphere, you're gonna have to figure out what to do to get people on board.

Some of the cheers y'all are doing that people started doing almost 10 years ago probably aren't going over well b/c they were based on pop-culture stuff from that time. Not many people are going to get on board with those if they don't know where they're from. Maybe y'all could try and find something from current pop culture that more people would know what it is and might be more inclined to go along with.

For the foul chant, at least the end part, it was relative when the "Whazzzuuuuuuup" beer commercials were on TV, but that's dated now an no one is going to know what the hell it is. The 2 bits / suck it cheer was from when WWF wrestling had the "suck it" part of that group's schtick, but again it's dated and most people won't have a clue what it is anymore.

The foul out chant is still relative and pretty funny, and it's even better when the player from the other team plays along. I think it was a player from Alabama a few years back who wouldn't sit down for a few minutes when he got to their bench after fouling out, and was shuffling his left food repeatedly, so the crowd kept yelling "Left Left Left-left-left" until he finally sat down... that was pretty funny.

The SS finally got loud at the MS game...and now they are whining that our cheers suck and are too high school like.

Unless we're perfect, some are just always gonna find something to bitch about. Thats just how it is.
I know I'm gonna get a ton of heat for saying this and many will prob just deny it saying "we're not whining about this/that etc." I dont care, it shows how tired I'm getting from hearing some of yall cry about the SS all the time. Its stupid. We're all tiger fans here and we all cant wait to see the PMAC go absolutely INSANE come Saturday!

I agree I think a lot of the abuse the bball student section is receiving comes from football where the student section is terrible and an embarassment sometimes.
