I was very vocal about this past portal class with duds like Speights and Chestnut. I guess it’s a coincidence the Louisiana kids like Sam and Diggs weren’t useless

We have now won 5 SEC games. We won only 2 SEC games last season. That is improvement, IMO. Maybe my goal of 9 SEC wins for this team is doable...maybe.
We have:
Miss State and Kentucky, both at home. Most likely result is a loss to both, but call me crazy, I think we can steal one.
Then UGA at home. I think it's essential we win that, and I think we do.
At Vandy, at Arkansas. I think we CAN and SHOULD win both, it's a bit risky with Arkansas since it's their final home game, but they might mail it in by then.
Then the home finale for us, against Mizzou. We SHOULD win that.
In other words, after Kentucky and Miss State, we literally play the 4 worst teams in the conference.
UGA 4-8
Ark 3-9
Vandy 2-9
Mizzou 0-11
Just take care of business, and there's your 9-9 SEC record. Steal a game from Miss State or Ky, and we could be playing for 10-8

I'm not defending Pirate King at all, but lets be real, there are 100% LSU fans on here that are miserable when something good happens to McMahon and they want others to feel miserable with them.
Will Wade is gone guys, and he's not coming back. Doesn't mean you have to be happy with the state of LSU basketball right now, but it's lame as hell to shite on people who are happy when something good happens to the program.

Oh I absolutely agree with this. I've been a pretty consistent critic of CMM from jump and for me the jury is still out, but I'm very happy with this win. And the number may be few of those who are not -but they exist. And they are relentless.
