They have been terrible this year. They routinely play the wrong song for the wrong down.

They are tiny and weak compared to most other SEC bands. Even Moo State's band is bigger and louder. They rarely play at home games (not their fault), and when they do, they are routinely drowned out by opposing bands. They don't play the stands chants/ cheers correctly, they play the National Anthem and Fight Song too fast, and play the Alma Mater too slow.

For free tickets, transportation, room/board, and $500 per game I will be the band spotter. My qualifications are that I’ve gone to LSU games for 30+ years.

Les Miles has lost control of the band.

Huey Long recognized the need for a great band and placed them under them financially under the athletic department. A few years ago or more the band was placed financially under the music department and much of the financial needs of the band were eaten away by the folks in the music department. So it’s the music department vs the marching band when it comes to the funding. I think most here could care less about the music department but damn sure want the “million dollar” band back. Tiger band is at the bottom of the SEC. Even if they do everything technically and musically correct on a halftime performance there size prohibits the sound and overall visual enjoyment necessary for tiger stadium or comparison to other sec bands.

I noticed at least 3 times while at FSU game. Once for field goal and twice when they went for it on 4th down
