Florida could go 7-2 here tbh

Well, sure, mathmatically speaking. They could have also beaten unranked USF.

Lots of things that don't happen "could" have.

Based on what ? He’s done all of jack shite as a HC

GG wasn’t alone in his Billy love, there were plenty of idiots here that fell for his saban impersonation during Culotta’s weekly propaganda segments with him

He probably had aspirations to be Napier's "Derek".

Love Guilbeau - great writer!

As for as college football fans, we're probably the most bipolar fans in all of sports. Napier led Florida to four straight wins to end the season and Florida fans were ready to jump back on board, but two games into this season and they hate him once again.

You have to have thick skin to be a big time D1 coach!

There was no "probably" about it. Napier had a weekly spot on Jordy's show SOELY for the purpose campaigning for the LSU job. Did anyone really think people in BR gave a damn about ULL football enough to want to listen to a weekly segment with the HC? Napier's reps saw O get the LSU job, in part, through exposure on Jordy's show and they were trying to replicate the feat for their client.

I saw Jordy at a basketball game not to long before BK was announced and he was pretty certain Napier was going to get the job. Juxtapose that with a friend who is a member of BR Country Club and friends with Woodward who, when asked if Napier was in consideration for the job, simply laughed and said "no". About 4 days later news of the BK hire was announced.
