I don't think any legit LSU fans are O haters. If he doesn't at least make the playoffs this year, he will have underperformed. I have said many times on this site I am CONVINCED O is not a good enough coach for LSU, and I DESPERATELY want him to prove me wrong. All that said, he is knocking it the hell outa the park in recruiting, but he needs to win big consistently at LSU.

What about your old screen name ?

Lol another shite stirring contrarian stalking me

Well, why’d you change it?

The man can recruit. We all knew this. It's also why his first class was such a disappointment.
The question that has to be answered is can he win with all of the talent he's stacking. It's the same question asked of Les Miles and he failed to deliver an answer the fan base was willing to accept.
ETA: Talent hasn't been a problem since the 90's.

Time for a new oline coach? What has done to merit another year after this recruiting season?
Let’s see how signing day goes

He's done a great job recruiting this year, and last year. Shopsher was a Bama guy no matter what we did. We still need Guillory, and next year we need 4 stud offensive tackles to match up with Bama's DL.

Monkey, do you have some inside info that we need to know about? What about our recruiting class and coach makes us so much more likely to have all of our class flip..
You have me worried, I thought we had a good program here. Is there something coming we don't know about?

Shout out to Coach O for doing the job he gets paid handsomely to do.

Wait...LSU has a great recruiting class? With being the only power program in a talent rich state? Ya baby!

Well said! Very true. You have to respect a man who has bounced back from his days at Ole Miss and let his failures motivate him to work hard and be successful. I’ve gained so much love for the guy when LSU fans want to chew him up and spit him out and never really give him a chance to succeed! Future looks bright

Im not hiding at all, im right here. The recruiting class will flop. Recruits will flip flop like fish to bama and a@m during the season. At least 2 of the top 5 commits. Bet that
Grad assistant banged his dirty wife recently so he’s hating

Yeah the haters are hiding
You should maybe wait until recruits start signing in December, then in February, before you start showing your arse.
That said, I hope this class sticks together and that we can keep on the upward trajectory we're currently on by keep developing these recruits and keep winning games.

Rivals formula is fricked. Clemson has the better class on paper
Nobody in their right mind would take Clemson’s 18 over our 22 as a complete signing class. Clemson will almost surely END with the best class, but they don’t have the best class currently committed. Their average recruit committed is better.
So it depends what you’re rating. If you had to play ball with the group of current commits, it’s LSU, OSU and Bama. If you’re ranking who is putting together the best class it’s Clemson - on paper at least.

He done nothing but make the right moves since he took over this program
- 2018 was a mediocre class. That argument is over.
- Hired Canada as coordinator
- Hired Ensminger as coordinator
- is entering his fourth year and MIGHT have the offensive staff figured out
- Gave #7 to Giles
- Scored 0 points against Bama 2 home games in a row, and only 10 at Bama.
- Hasn’t lost less than 3 games. Remember “Can’t spell “Les Miles” without two “L’s”? Well, O hasn’t even gotten to that formerly disappointing level.
I like Orgeron, but he has NOT made ALL right moves. What he HAS done is:
- Gradually gotten recruiting to an elite level
- Kept changing the offense when confronted with his failures
- Retained Aranda
- Kept the team motivated after the annual Bama fiasco
- Hustled transfers and juco’s when we had holes in the roster.
Les took over a great program and ran it through three phases. First, he had about five years during which he maintained it’s greatness. Second, he held it at about a 3 loss level for a few years during which we were competitive in the losses. Third it dropped to about a four loss team that was getting blown out every year, sometimes by second tier SEC teams.
Orgeron has returned LSU to the second stage of Les’ tenure. Let’s see if he can get us to the top.

Recruiting is mainly done geographically. The oline coach is primarily responsible for recruiting an area not a position.

RickDaddy, claims he’s a Duke grad with incredible football acumen. In reality he doesn’t know the simplest things about football. He thinks three wide formations are max protect.
First, there is no way Monkeybus is a Rickdaddy alter. Totally different styles.
Second, Rickdaddy is a smart guy, and he is knowledgeable (for a fan) about football. He is highly logical, probably to a fault. He specializes in parsing posts to expose errors in the literal reading of those posts. He is often misunderstood as a Miles supporter and O hater. He was, in fact, in favor of firing Miles. He just cannot let a mis-statement go unargued. His argumentative threads are painful to read sometimes, but he’s a good dude.

Yeah the haters are hiding
This is your real reason for making this thread. While everybody else is just glad that O is finally doing what the vast majority of us expected him to do from jump (bring in boatloads of talent, especially at DL), you are here blowing a load because he's 1-uped, the "O haters".
If he brings in the recruits and wins the games, I have no problem with him, but I'm not some obsessed fan of O like many of you are.
