Should we be concerned about Mathieu??

The video that came out a few days ago on LESMILES.NET showed him promoting a clothing company. Any possibility of the NCAA getting involved and us losing him for multiple games or worse the season??
I love this kid and am pumped to watch our defense this year, however i am concerned that we dont make it thru the offseason without trouble finding us

I'd like to think that if Lesmiles.net put out a vid, that it wouldn't show a fricking violation. If so, then LSU is as retarded as the city it's stuck in.

Was the video actually on lesmiles.net? From what I understand it was just an amateur video that used copyrighted clips pulled from lesmiles.net.
The video was disturbing though. Major elegibility violation unless there's a loophole somewhere in the rulebook.

Pretty sure it was YouTube. Usually the lesmiles.net videos have the watermark. This one did not.

Can you give any identifying search terms to locate the video? I just searched YouTube multiple terms related to Tyrann and sorting by upload date and don't see anything related to clothing.

I wrote an email to mad endz clothing about this video on the web sight, I don't know if anyone else contacted them or if LSU contacted them but, the video is not on the sight anymore (thank god).
I would hope in the future if TM decides to do any off field work that he clears this with the program.

tried to make a few plays on the ball vs. UT that he didn't, one in particular being when their big WR got away from him for some YAC. and ppl overblew it as he's some huge risk taker on every down. in reality, he's actually really good about knowing when to just tackle someone vs. when to also attempt to force TOs.

Either the video is no on this site or it met with compliance standards. All videos posted on that site (which is run by LSU) must be approved by the compliance office. Along with every shirt, jacket, recruiting cards/letters, trips, TV appearances, etc.
The only way anything gets done without compliance approval is if it is done under the table or outside the scope of the athletic department.
