is promoting a clothing company the same thing as being a model? if he can be paid for modeling, wtf does it matter?
ding ding ding, we have a winner. It's all in the verbiage. If they use his name or LSU in their ad, then it will be a violation I believe, or at least unauthorized use assuming the school didn't approve.
However, if they hire him as a model for the clothes and don't mention his name, then I think he can take all the free clothing and money that they throw at him. Just as long as they don't relate it to football.

IMHO, he quite possibly will spend time in jail before he spends time in the NFL. I stopped being concerned about him when he and Ware were suspended for synthetic marijuana use. He's a big boy, and he will do what he feel like he wants to do, needs to do, and what he can get away with. He's old enough to go to Afghanistan with an M-16, vote, etc., so I don't worry about coddled scholarshipped "amateur" CFL players who stand to make more in one in one year of professional football than I make in ten, OK, make that seven. I've got enough worry about my own kids.

Haven't read the thread, but at a glance this is brilliant. The safety out of Cali (Goodman) is also very interested in doing a similar thing. I can only think that this would help with him
