Scared money don’t make no money… we should be prepared to play anyone in the country anywhere… ain’t no excuses when everyone healthy and fresh… coaching has more a emphasis

Only a coward would want that game canceled. When the Tigers won openers, there were no complaints. It was scheduled in advance, so play the game. I believe in the Tigers. I like that the game will be played in Clemson's home stadium, and the return game will be in Tiger Stadium.

in BCS era? when they mattered? no playoff year opener mattered thus far except the outlier 2019.

you clowns are stuck in the past and not looking towards LSU's best interests now. especially with our serious issues with NIL and portal.

If we cancel that game, LSU would be known as the Pussies, not the Tigers.

Is Clemson talking about canceling the game? No, they are getting ready for a playoff game
they aren't talking about it because they still have something to play for.

If they had won a cupcake instead of being crushed by UGA, they likely have a bye in the playoffs.

we will need to asses how many P4 non-conference games make sense in the future to put us in the best position to participate in the CFP.
Is this going to help them not lose to Vanderbilt and not get dominated by Oklahoma?

Exactly! Had they won either of those two games, where they were double-digit favorites in both, they would be in the playoffs. Their OOC had zero to do with them not making it.

Now that the playoff committee has devalued strength of schedule by allowing multiple teams with weak schedules to be in the playoffs

better than that, should the SEC schedule 7 SEC games and 5 out of conference games??

going to 9 SEC games ultimately will hurt the SEC participation in CFP

But they didn’t loose OC they lost to Vandy, OU and Tenn! With a weak OC schedule they wouldn’t even have the argument

Yeah, I did not expect Alabama being correctly left out to cause such a meltdown from LSU fans.

No, because Clemson is 86 miles from my house.

I wanna pay way too much for tickets and see us start 0-1

I think his point is that if SMU had to play Bama's schedule, they would have more losses and would not have been in the conversation.

correct.

I only care about the real games against top competition. I care very little about cupcake games, and I'm surprised that so many posters on this board want us to play a weak schedule just to get into the playoffs. What a boring season that would be.

I want to play very good teams and we end up where we end up. But ducking top OOC competition is very, very weak. If we're playoff-worthy, we'll beat the USCs and Clemsons of the world.

I would prefer LSU have a very soft OOC schedule, but if they’re not going to then I endorse your line of thinking. Schedule the very best you can, no small schools just looking for a check. Play a frickin’ juggernaut schedule. Then you become the school with the reputation that you’re looking to fight only equally yoked prizefighters and willing to let the chips fall where they may.

SMU would have beaten the same 4 OOC teams that Alabama beat.

Western Kentucky
Wisconsin
South Florida
Mercer

And the AD is talking about their OOC schedule?

Wisconsin isn’t even the best team on that list.
