After all,Heisman trophy winners are more rare than National Championships at LSU. Not cost them games, but keep him in longer, pass more when they could run etc.

If we go undefeated and he misses 8 more quarters because we're killing teams, he ain't gonna miss the Heisman because of that.

If LSU gets to Tuscaloosa undefeated and Burrow outplays Tua for a Tiger win on the road in BDS then he will be hard to beat IMO. In that game scenario I believe JB and TT would be playing for the Heisman. The winning team would likely have to win out after that to keep the vote though because OU, tOSU, and CU are likely to be undefeated and their Qbs will be in the running too

I think it’s between Burrow, Tua and Justin Fields if they continue their torrid pace.

1. People are probably OU weary and may believe it’s the system and not the player. A transfer comes in and performs well with minimal PT beforehand.
2. Winner of the LSU/Bama game takes the lead.

Burrow may have a leg up on Fields because our offense has been dynamic and setting school & SEC records after years of old school ground and pound offense.

If Burrow is winning a Heisman, i like our chances of competing for a championship.

Pretty sure A&M fans would rather have a National Championship than Johnny Football's Heisman.

What does winning a Heisman do for LSU? It builds on a legacy of having Heisman trophy winners at LSU. What would be better remembered 10 years from now? Burrow winning the Heisman, or LSU going 11-2?

That will sort itself out if he takes care of business through November.

Let's go all out on winning the SEC and making the Playoff. Do that, and the awards will take care of themselves.

Joe Burrow wants to win every game his TEAM plays... his mind is on a championship... if another trophy comes with that than so be it..... that’s exactly how I want my leader to think......

Emphasis should be on winning the games; if we go undefeated, Burrow's chance at winning the Heisman increases considerably.

Any program should never put the individual interests or accolades above the team goals.

You’re not making any sense. Why are the two choices Heisman or 11-2? If Joe wins the Heisman, it’s because we won those games.

Pull Joe when the games no longer in doubt. I have a feeling that trophy is gonna be won by the winning QB in Tuscaloosa that first weekend in November
