I mean, he was getting paid a lot before and she had a pretty fricking lush life.

It’s a guarantee payout, but under certain conditions. He has to perform the post termination conditions to “earn”. My belief is that the LASC will rely on this to rule that its post termination separate property. O and only O can perform the personal obligations to “earn” the money.

Ding ding. Someone gets it.

I guess this will prove once and for all of youre as shitty of an attorney as we all know you are.

I have pretty solid record when discussing the law. Rittenhouse is may a rare L, but I was racking up Ws after the 2020 election.

Bad look for O? What the frick did his ex-wife do to earn any of that money. You want to know why young guys are not getting married or having its kids? It’s because the legal system regularly fricks guys over divorce and child support. If either person can leave the marriage at any time why should the more talented richer person become a lottery ticket for the person who makes less to no money? Women are all about equality and independence until they want to divorce you and take the money you earned.

I don’t know, maybe being drug around the country with his coaching jobs, raising the kids by herself while O put in 18 hour days and not being able to grow or earn a career of her own because of all of this.

There are plenty of marriages that both the husband and wife work and raise kids. I am more than sure they could afford day care. He had a job that was very demanding and came with a lot of pressure.

Did she even work? .

I now remember a few posts on tRant back then that it was weird that Orgeron’s termination kept him “on staff” with the obligation for future appearances, if asked, something like that. Very good bet his lawyers negotiated this for this very reason (divorce wasn’t finalized yet so he wanted to not “earn” the buyout yet)

She is clearly not going to get this money. His earnings after the community terminated are his only.

You act like someone put a gun to her head to do this. I’m sure there are no benefits at all to marrying someone who can provide a lifestyle where you can focus on your kids and even hire someone to help with them daily and also allow you to enjoy the fruits of your spouse’s labor.

This is a wild mentality.

The money wasn't earned during the marriage...nor was it scheduled to be earned during the marriage.

Bingo. Won’t be surprised at all (especially in this state) if she wins the decision from the SC.

The problem is if the woman needs to be at home having children and taking care of the household …she’s not able to work. of course, that was the case in Kelly‘s situation as I’m sure Coach O was gone a lot coaching. So what do you guys want? Do you want women to work or stay at home? Cant have your cake and eat it too.
