LSU with Wade is in the sweet 16. If you watched the Iowa St/Wiscy game there is no doubt. How much is woodworth paying you people to post on here?

Iowa State is one of the blueprints LSU can hope to replicate next year. They were HORRIBLE last season (2-22). They fired their HC. 11 players left the team. With a new HC and a bunch of transfers they are in the Sweet 16 this year. That’s how quickly a program can be turned around

I was about to say, this thread is talking a lot about how shitty we were on Friday night, and how shitty Wisconsin looked today. Maybe Iowa State had something to do with that.

Look man I enjoyed your basketball posts during the season as well as The Boat’s and the other diehards. I really did. I’m a child of the 70’s and 80’s who saw the best years of LSU basketball. I was on the front row of the student section for just about every game of Chris Jackson’s freshman year. I only say all that to demonstrate that men’s basketball is by far my second favorite LSU sport over baseball and that I respect you posters who love it as much as you do.
I also really did like Wade and I hate that he had to be fired. Loved his passion and love for LSU. The timing of the firing is up for debate and is obviously a hot topic.
I’m just tired of all the Woodward hate. You say you don’t hate him yet and I’ll take your word on that for now, but I don’t know why you’re so confident he didn’t cut a deal.

I've never seen a team in lsu be as careless with the ball.
That is engrained in them throughout the yr. That doesn't change if wade is in the game. I think they had 17 turnovers or more.

I don’t hate woody, it’s just a difficult pill to swallow given the timing and the inevitable effect it was gonna have on the team. We can only hope he’s doing what daddy Emmert is telling him to do. (Which is still chickenshit imo) It’s hard to look at ok state who, like LSU, was fully compliant and got screwed, and not fear at least a 1 or more year ban and given the nature of the allegations, some scholarship penalties too. Again hope im wrong.

I do expect something though of course. If we get a one year ban though that might be less than we would’ve received. Also, if he cut a deal to lessen punishment on the football program as some have speculated I would be okay with that too.

I’m not a Wade hater. I hate neither of them. As I stated above, I loved his passion and love of LSU. I just wish like hell he hadn’t been so damn careless in his actions, which are what caused his firing.

SEC basketball, clearly overrated. Will Wade, overrated and a complete dumbass. Game against Iowa State, a fat L with or without General Dip shite. Guy can’t even figure out how to use a burner phone but some how would get this team to the Sweet 16?
