I really didn’t mind most of the defensive play calls. What I did mind was how out of control we played. Constantly taking bad angles, leaving players completely uncovered, etc. we played like an undisciplined team and Vandy didn’t and that’s why they won the game. We have the talent, we just clearly don’t have the coaching.

Baker couldn’t figure out Vandy without Whit. That’s disappointing. We got gashed by a runt and had no answers.

Baker is over reliant on the blitz. You can't win long-term with a D based on blitzing in modern football. Offenses are too good and a good QB/OC/scheme will eat you up, especially in critical moments.

He is over reliant on it but it didn't look like he blitzed as much usual, especially in the beginning of the game.

I didn't like when he brought the corner blitz for a td because someone didn't cover in behind Pickett after and pavia essentially walked in the end zone.

3-4 plays have always decided games. Bear always said a game came down to five or six plays and it was his job to have his team ready to win most of them. But what did he know?

Vandy was stronger and faster and more physical than lsu. Didn't matter what baker ran.

It can’t be overstated how much we missed Weeks. They attacked his area of the field again and again. He’s the leader of the defense. Perkins has consistently shown to be an all sec caliber player when he plays with whit, and a complete liability without him.

You could fairly say that bakers scheme shouldn’t be so reliant on one guy but it is. I think we win 24-17 if weeks plays.

I’d have to go back and watch the tape, but initially I thought we played safe and didn’t blitz. They carved us up running and passing.

We decided to start pressuring and Pavia ran us ragged.

Our front four couldn’t get much pressure, 7 was exposed and they threw agsinst our LBs and safeties. Their TEs were money.

Should have kept him in the pocket and forced him to throw.

He might have wanted to do that, but we have dumb football players that rush at everything that moves with no plan if the person darts one way and goes another.

They always say, "We need to stay in our lanes", "Do our job and not someone else's job', etc. Yet, the next week these idiots do the exact same thing.

Teach them their assignments and how to tackle would be the 1st step!

Baker should have Spied The QB the entire game.

Make QB throw ball to beat you!!

Even after halftime… he didn’t spy the QB.

QB was running wild.
