Mulkey/LSU just sent out an email…

Dear LSU Women's Basketball Supporter,

To remain among the nation’s best in this world of college athletics, we have to be competitive across all aspects of our program, and we need your help as we work to recruit, retain and prepare for next season!

With your support, we'll continue building on the foundation we've established and ensure LSU Women's Basketball continues its historic legacy for years to come. As we look toward the future, your contributions make all the difference by recruiting top talent and providing our student-athletes with resources they need to succeed on and off the court.
Your generosity has helped us get this far, and I'm counting on you to help us take the next step.

Thank you for being a vital part of the LSU Women's Basketball family. Together, we will continue to achieve greatness.

Geaux Tigers!

Seriously anyone who's donating money to women's basketball has way too much of it

Good luck asking middle class Americans to part with their hard-earned money to give to 20-year-old prima donnas who, in most cases, already have more than they do.

of course she is. It's the way college sports is now.

And it's ruining the game.

Stop with the BS comments . She will make more in the WNBA then in college. This is not my opinion its 100% a proven fact. A player will keep their NIL deals plus the WNBA salary. Please do some research before you make random false comments. It's very easy to find out the information even some interviews with former and current players explaining that a player will never make more in college because the nil deal is with the player not with the school. I'm sorry for rant I just get tired of people making up something that is 100% false and with very little effort it can be looked up

Those players who make more in the WNBA than they did in college were mostly in college before NIL. A lot of them go play in Europe because the money is better. You need to get out of the 1990s and catch up with the times.

Nailed it. Lipsey and his family sit courtside every WBB game and don’t miss. That’s some pretty damn deep pockets right there.

Exactly. That’s why Angel Reese came back for her fifth year of eligibility.

She is the OG who committed to and turned this program around. I would hate to see her leave for one season. That's crazy. She seems to love LSU. I really hope she stays at LSU. Especially with the class coming in.

Something that would not shock me—if Flau’jae and Mikaylah are kinda pissed off at Kailyn Gilbert’s ball hogging and feel like she cost them a trip to the Final Four. Gilbert came in with the reputation as a locker room cancer and it seems it’s as much for her on-court play as anything behind the scenes. I’m not saying this is the only or even the main reason FJ and maybe MKW would look elsewhere but it may figure.

On the one hand we’ve lived by the transfer portal these last few years. I can see the tables getting turned on us though I figured CKM had built this program to the point we were invulnerable from this.

Part of me understands it’s a business and many seniors look to spend their last year elsewhere. But with all the time and investment from Kim Mulkey and LSU WBB into FJ4, if she bails on CKM and the program I’ll consider that a chickenshit move.
