I highly doubt there is any seriousness to this. Maybe people are offering but no way is she realistically listening.

Feels like a ploy to just get extra cash out of LSU. I don’t see another program throwing 7 figures at her. She is obviously great but not a million dollars worth for a year…

her draft stock is already pretty high
why would you start over with a new coach and have to learn a new system with new players

I barely have enough cares to give about a star football player from LSU getting poached to another school.

I certainly don't care about this.

That’s already been shot down. Deals travel with them. They’ll make just as much.

LSU is not winning the natty next year

South Carolina gonna be loaded again and UCLA brings back their whole team plus add #1 player - Betts sister

UCLA will likely win it all next season

man, you are one of the worst posters here. You don't even know who will be on LSU's team. I love these statements like this, they never come back and bite anyone. Making this statement like it is a fact or something.

Nicholas giving up on an LSU team, a tradition like no other.

I was waiting for this. Yesterday’s headline was that she was not declaring for the draft, not that she was coming back.

Who cares

it's a fair question

for fans we're are not interested in college students selling themselves away to the highest bidder

we want players who love LSU and want to play there

go if you want!

college sports is slowly dying....because we have enabled this BS

Seems like this is a thing of the past nowadays. Sad to see.

I’d rather money go to one of the three major sports that I enjoy watching.

Well.... there it is and that settles it. I'll give Scott a holla and make sure goals in the athletic program are directed to the sports you like watching. Anything else LSU can do for you other that acknowledge that you prefer women's sports be dissolved?

If I was advising young athletes I would suggest be careful about getting greedy with the minor nil from universities if you are actually being successful at building a brand for business after college..

Idk you could also make the argument that building her brand in a new city and additional market would be a smart business move

How does this happen if she isn’t in the portal?
Surely you are not naive enough to think this doesn’t go on all year with the contact being initiated by both sides.

I highly doubt it. Her & Kim have a very strong relationship. Hell, her whole family has been embraced by LSU. Go watch her mom’s videos.

The salaries in the WNBA aren't exactly good. This could be her last, best, chance to leverage her ability into a big pay day. You may not like it as a fan. But you have to understand it from a business perspective.

She had one bad game wtf are you talking about. I'll never understand why people post on something they know nothing about. I'm guessing you didn't watch 2nd half of the UCLA game

I hate to bust your bubble but Baseball though it may gain a small profit not considered major sport. Don’t get me wrong I looove LSU baseball and we are the Standard, but there is no TV deals except for the 2 weeks CBWS in Omaha. WBB is growing in viewership and a new deal is set to begin in 26. I like LSU Baseball more than WBB but it’s really a Regional sport in the world of college sports(SEC). We are one of the Top if not the TOP program but there is way less national coverage and exposure in College baseball than C WBB. More people watched Iowa, USCe, UCONN & LSU WBB n 23 than watched the MLB World Series. It’s all about $$$ and TV not Our(LSU) baseball fandom. It’s also nice to have an elite WBB program.
