We held them well below their average and forced turnovers.

Just come out and shite on Aranda. We all know it's coming from you.

Apart from those two long TD's (one of which came on a very squirrelly trick play), we did a decent job of making them earn their scores. The D-line pressure was inconsistent, especially when everyone started cramping up. Not the best performance overall, but we got the W

He’s an above average coach on first and second down, but he shits the bed on 3rd and long even worse than Chavis did. Tua is playing on one leg and Aranda gave him a clean pocket to operate from nearly the entire second half on the long down and distance plays.

Tua plays his best game ever even with turnovers caused by our defense. They didn't play thier best game by a longshot but play was good enough that bama couldn't catch up.

I thought he coached a really good game aside from the moronic press man they ran with a minute left to give up that garbage time TD. A lot of the success Alabama had in the 2nd half was just the LSU players not making plays. Stingley had a few chances at the ball in the air and just didn’t make them. We missed a bunch of tackles cause guys weren’t wrapping up. Phillips and Stevens are the only guys in the back 7 that consistently wrap up to tackle.

Pro: 1st half

Cons: Getting schooled by Alabama adjustments in the 2nd half and giving up a TD on Alabama's last four possessions

Pros- the people who run LSU, his coaching staff and players know just how valuable his is and how good of a plan we had yesterday.

Cons- The Rant

Pros: They took away Bama's bread and butter with the slants and YAC. First half was brilliant

Cons: whatever the hell they call that 2nd half performance. Tackling was an abomination, pressure disappeared, Stingley got burned, Najee Harris was doing whatever he wanted.

Pros: we won. Held them to 1 TD in first half.
21/41 points were busted plays. Once Vincent went down we were playing a lot of guys who normally don’t see the field.

Besides the last play I cant Say I didnt Like any of the play calling. Sometimes the offense executed better.

Cons: don’t understand the last play.

Aranda's performance vs Bama.
C'mon, Dave didn't suit up. Performance tied into we had some green defenders in 2nd half and whiffs on some blitzes.

The lack of what should've been quarters cover prevent etc on Bama's last score is a mystery. Maybe was combo zone/man to prevent driving the field, and not sure if there's been any explanation from O or Dave.

Excellent and fair comments in this thread.

Pros: Excellent first half; turnovers; controlling the slant and yac part of the Tide offense.

Cons: Strange playcall on the last td; tackling in general is still inconsistent at best.

Extra: As much as Vincent gets called out on this site (a lot of it deservedly) it is obvious that he is still the better option over the current backups.
Lewis; Monroe and the true freshmen corners. (I think that the freshman corners will be ok)

The Harris out for the year injury along with the Joseph transfer is really hurting our defense.
