Easily the fastest woman in the world. If she could learn to get out of the blocks just a touch faster she could break world records.

Reminds me of Carl Lewis. His start was always his Achilles, when guys beat him it was always in the first 10-20 meters, felt like he was always closing at the end if he lost.

Richardson has never claimed to being raised in the “ghetto”. Reese has used that as part of her messaging to get publicity, and it has worked. Nothing wrong with publicity but understanding the consequences, like controversy, is the key. She understands it and continues to do it. Think about the entire hip hop culture and how it started. FCC getting involved with banning groups or songs, so they made up their own words for other words to get around it to stay relevant. Reese is a smart young woman and she will do what she has to do to stay in the limelight. There is NOTHING wrong with that. I’d do the same. This board by the fact that there are factions is EXACTLY what she wants there to be in the public eye.

Unfortunately, all of you are full of shite and wrong. Reese does it exactly the way she wants to do it. She created a controversy she wants: the messaging she wants. That is not the point of my previous post that has been downvoted. It was about Richardson not doing what Reese does yet people claim the same has happened to her. Prove it by posting it.
Track is one thing that I follow very closely and have forever.
Why don’t you tell the whole story about Richardson? Because none of you assholes really want to do that because all you want to do is create controversy on here. Let’s point the finger at someone else by bringing Reese Into what should be a very positive thread.

They don’t. It’s just a children on here bringing Angel Reese into this conversation when she has nothing to do with this thread. These two women are not remotely close in their situation.
I love both of them Because they represented LSU.
One just happened to have a tragic situation she dealt with and probably continues to deal with from a mother that abandoned her. Make no mistake, it is a hell of a lot different for a woman when her mother abandons her than a father. I witnessed it first hand.
