Not bogus. Just slanted.

Um just for the record have you ever read a lawsuit? Have you ever talked to an attorney that didn't think his case was a slam dunk?

Wait till we read "reckless disregard" and "egregious behaviour" and "malicious intent" and the other hyperbole that lawyers use.

Remember Fisher reps LSU, first and foremost

He'll handle this the same way he handled RP. Some LSU playing careers about to end in ... tick, tock, tick

I KNOW it's slanted...that's what THEIR attorney said. Yes, I've read a lawsuit before and yes, attorneys usually feel their cases are slam dunks. Now, I know why people don't post on the Rant...I was just passing along info...

We'll still be sitting in our seats no matter who ends playing for the Tigers this year.

We dont know anything about the other 3 guys, but the marine has no case imo. Too much shite to question his character and validity of his statements.

First innocent bystander, now all 4 are friends, now no alcohol was involved, but myspace page showing him drinking under age.

Not reading through all this but I think its pretty simple. If you are NOT guilty, you come forward immediately to help resolve the situation quickly. You have a huge game to play in less than 2 weeks.

IMO this isn't good for the players. Theyve lost public opinion regardless

NO. If you have issues with the cops, no matter what, you get a lawyer and let him handle things.

They do not chat about it with friends and coworkers, only the judge who will be hearing the case.

Absolutely. A big game in two weeks might impact your career for the next 1-4 years, maybe more if you actually have NFL potential. Dicking around with the cops without a lawyer could impact your life for the next 50-60 years (or however many you have left).

Innocent people put themselves in jail by being stupid a LOT. Don't be stupid. If you're a suspect, or you've been accused of a crime, or you even think you might be, get a lawyer before you talk to anybody.

Wrong. You never speak to the police. Ever.
This video explains why.

Prediction: A walk-on will take one for the team and admit to punching and/or kicking every one of the victims. He will also swear under oath that he was the only player that participated in the fight. If LSU goes on to win the NC, the legacy of that walk-on lives forever.

i just don't see how they can be charged without physical evidence(video, police witness, etc).

They have documented injuries obviously and witnesses stating how those injuries happened. What more do you need? If the only crimes that were prosecuted were video taped or witnessed by cops there would be about 20 percent of the crimes prosecuted.

The injuries may count as evidence; but the random drunk chick's (who chose to identify JJ as responsible for her attention whore-I'm famous-maybe now I'll get a phone call after being shagged) statement will be cast off by the cops as 'strange attention whore count nonsense'.

They should have just come forward instead of lawyering up and hiding behind a defense. I understand having a lawyer there but this thing took place on Thursday...little late for a general statement

Where do you guys get this shite. When you're under investigation, the Police are not your friends.
