If clemson plays a "10" of a game Dec 31......gives LSU their absolute best shot, what level will LSU need to play to win? On a 1-10 scale.

8?
10?
Can't beat clemson at their best?

Honestly what would it take for LSU to beat clem if they put it all together for one magical night like that night dabo had his moms move in the dorm bed with him?

If Clemson put it all together and played a perfect game, LSU could prolly do about 75-80.

Do you try to be a terrible poster or does it just come naturally to you?

Somewhere between 8-10. Clemson's offense at a 10 level would give us hell. We can't cover those wrs all night. We'd have to get in a shootout and I don't like our odds in one of those. If we play a 10 then we win going away. This a game that could be close or go blowout either way depending on how both teams play.

That seems like how most outside people feel lsufanva. If both teams play their best game LSU will win. Just wondering how much LSU fans feel they will need if they don't get a 10 effort?

honestly if LSU plays a 4 they win easily.

This scale is with the Auburn game at 0 and Washington game at 10.

Please tell me you don't talk football with Bama fans where you live. I don't like the idea of this rampant rantardism as an out of state ambassador representing our fanbase.

I think if Clemson plays their absolute best in all phases of the game (offense, defense, and ST) then LSU better be at least a 9 to win the game.

I think Clemson's offense can give us fits if they are able to run the ball effectively, becasue then you are man-to-man with Watkins and Hopkins and that isn't what LSU wants to do. Boyd isn't a bad QB. On defense, if Clemson can stop the run and force Mett to have to throw, then we can't afford drops, turnovers, etc. Clemson's defense isn't great but neither was Ole Miss, Arkansas, or Auburn for that matter. On special teams, Watkins is dangerous and can house it at any time.

I think many people feel LSU is the better team and they are, but it isn't like playing N. Texas. Clemson is a good team and LSU needs to prepare and be ready for a game similar to the Texas A&M game. Dangerous offense but a defense that we can run against. If we run the ball well and stop the run, we will win this game.

80. Our defense is just too fast and phsyical for their team. on the other side, our offense will be balanced and at the very least, we separate early in the 4th with a worn out Clemson defensive front 7.

With Mett broken-in we don't have to use the 2010 offense anymore. We won't play another game like vs Auburn and vs Florida.

...hopefully ever.

i back miles, let's just start with that.

but if you saw LSU play ole miss, AU, or arkansas; is there any reason to believe clemson can't beat us? not saying they will, though honestly it looks like they're pretty psyched and we're pretty disappointed to be there.

that's never good in the bowl season.

i want to think LSU will roll, but this isnt 2011. we didn't steamroll people this year. i hope we can eek out a W.

I would say LSU could muster by with a 7. We saw them go through the motions after Bama.....and still win. I think you see a determined LSU team and Clemson doesn't come close to a "10".

I think LSU better play it's 10 game, regardless of what level Clemson is at. A showcase win would be nice.

In my opinion, if clemson played a 10 lsu would need to play a 9 to squuek out a win.

Clemson has some of the best skill players in the country. A 10 for them is a track meet and they're capable of putting up a pile of points if they play their best game.

I'm pulling for lsu, but if they show up groggy or expecting a cakewalk clemson could easily win. The first quarter is going to be the key to this game. If it's withing 7 points going into the second, I think lsu wins. If clemson jumps out to a big lead early, and they are capable of that against anyone with their explosive guys on the outside, I think clemson wins

The Fans are dsappointed more than the players. I think LSU will show up and it will still be a close game.
