No. At best, there was a tiny minority wanting Flynn to start, with a few more wanting Flynn just to get a series or three when things started to stagnate.

This board was overrun with anti-Russell threads and pro-Flynn threads in 2005 and 2006. Yet, in 2007, when Flynn had a worse year than 2006 Russell, negative comments of Flynn were few and far between.

Now, I agree with you that Hatch isn't very good and I know what thread you're talking about. that said, I am sad to see him go, as its good to have some depth at the quarterback position. And I see no reason to bash the guy, who certainly played hard.
