Send Nuss to Cali to train with Jayden’s guy

I understand Nuss’ dad is a QB coach in the league, but Jayden’s progression from year 1 to 2 when he trained out west was palpable.
Sometimes you need unbiased eyes and voices for the message to resonate.
If you get Nuss some prime training in the offseason to decipher reads and work on maneuvering the pocket better, he could be in for a boom 2nd season.

He needs to focus on footwork, which will give him a run option and open up the opposing D. Of course that comes with risks so we’ll need a good backup QB. The sky is the limit for Nuss if he learns how to comfortably move around and buy time.

I remember seeing a story on Jayden Daniels using a VR system to simulate the game and they would speed it up so a real game seemed slower. Does anyone know if Nuss uses this system?

Yes! And main thing to work on is developing his running game. Seeing wide open space and hauling arse. And learning how to slide. And also protecting the ball when he's about to get sacked. No more punch outs.

Im pretty sure that system is in the facility. They get the all 22 film and can play it back with the VR at any speed

Yes. It’s in the LSU facility
It’s virtual reality essentially. Stadiums, play clocks, game clocks, players, plays, etc all simulate real life.

I imagine there is a lot of players who can’t use it. I know every time I try to use my kids system I feel like I need to go lay down.

This is the problem. He thinks he doesn’t have to listen to anyone.
Nuss does not listen. He’s immature and looks for the big plays then loses big games for LSU.
Need a transfer QB to whip his arse into shape.

We would be better off sending Nuss back to Pop Warner Pee-wee ball and teaching him not to throw on the run to his left back across the middle of the field to his right.

He needs to focus on decision making first and foremost.
When under pressure against good defenses, he has a propensity to just go-for-broke and try and fit a ball in double coverage.

Yes. Marucci designed this. LSU is one of the first facilities to have this technology. Nuss is definitely using it.
Now that he has a season under his belt, he knows what to improve on and work towards.
We will have a good qb next season.
