Congrats on a great career for the goat! I would love for coach Mulkey to get her on staff since she lives here in Baton Rouge.

Talk about fire and water. Cannot imagine one issue off of the court these two could agree on. Both are goats but that would be a disaster.

Apparently she’s going to be an assistant coach on the sparks staff

She was a joy to watch at LSU. Congratulations on a great career Seimone.

Everytime I see a thread about the WNBA, I remember there is a WNBA.

And then I forget again.

But, SA was a great Tiger, regardless.

Good for her. Hopefully she will be a successful head coach one day.

agreed. Look, I’m happy that any former LSU player succeeds after they leave here, but is there actually anyone that watches a single second of the WNBA? The NBA heavily subsidizes it, for political reasons, but there can’t be much, if any, actual fan interest in the product.

I have attended 1 WNBA game in my life when I was in Minnesota Seimone's Rookie year because my dad was a huge fan.

Stayed for the 1st half...had great seats...called my mom and I was that a-hole sitting mid court and waving at the camera. She saw me .

The average base pay in the WNBA annually is $100K. In the NBA it is $7,700,000. Apparently the pros run a business. Universities run title 9.

I actually refereed many of her games as a youngster. I knew she was good but that flat shot of hers was going to hold her back . She proved me wrong. But it is flattest shot I’ve ever seen someone perfect. Congrats to her.

Those pack the PMAC games with her were so much fun as a kid. I remember Making paper airplanes trying to land them in the barrels to win a car/big prize

Phenomenal player and career, both college and pros.

I remember her being one of the few/only WBB basketball players who could legit hang with myself (average bb skills, above average athlete) and most of the mens pick-up players in the rec. Not saying she could hang with college level mens players, she couldn't. But if you were an average to good pick-up guy and you had to guard Seimone you had to be ready to play or she could eat you up.
