1. We really don't know how good/ bad Clemson
is.
2. Ole Miss has a great quarterback.
3. Ole Miss is at home.

LSU has the better team talent and coaching.
LSU 35
Ole Miss 28

Here's my unbiased opinion on this game and some takeaways from Week 1 for both teams.

I think a lot of people are underestimating just how bad that Clemson defense truly was. And I'm not even talking schematically. The effort was simply putrid on key plays in a number of key situations. I watched the Ole Miss game and while their secondary was full of broken coverages and missed tackles, the entire team did swarm to the ball; the effort was there. I think you have to assume that a lot of that will be cleaned up. Generally speaking secondary assignments and tackling are the two things that improve the most from week 1 to week 2.

All that being said, I think Ole Miss scores a garbage time touchdown and LSU still wins by 10. I could see a 38-28 type of game.

Your post is actually half right. It will be a dog fight for the 1st half. Of course, they’re gonna be fired up and playing on a lot of emotion and so will their fans, in the beginning. But LSU will eventually wear them down and kick their arse in the second half. Book it.

From what I watched during the Louisville game, the Ole Miss players don’t look very well conditioned. They were cramping up and falling out left and right. They looked sluggish and very unlike last year’s team.

Louisville took them to the wire. Louisville.

They gave up 470 yards and 4.2 yards per rush against Louisville who had a qb making his first start since high school. I’m not going to say we blow them out but they have a lot to work on in less than 2 weeks.

Not to mention the fact I feel confident we have the better defense compared to Louisville. With CLK helping him plan all week I like Bakers defense to have a better outing than last years matchup

Kiffin and Weiss are the ultimate scheming game-plan guys. If those two have EVER put together a solid scheme for a game, what they'll bring to Oxford will completely dwarf any past effort.

if you watched that Film Guy youtube they were talking about how Lane was doing nothing the same as at Ole Miss last year and reverted to some of his work from over four years ago.

Hell, he's liable to break out some hybrid Spurrier/Carroll/Petrino/Leach weirdo custom offense that they'll never see coming.

NOTHING Clemson studied on film showed up in the game last week.

No one here is talking about the game of Ole Miss so idk where you are getting that from lmfao. Everyone is concerned with the dark cloud of the SEC than discussing the Ole Miss game.

Do yall really think that?? I think it’s going to be an absolute dog fight still with that environment to deal with. What say you?

Old piss had everything they could handle with a mediocre Louisville team that had no QB and no DBs.

I love the confidence LSU Neil even if ill-advised.
We are going to have some battles this season. OM, Bama, Texas, OU, A&M. Those are battles.

Not after this shite.

LSU missed 11 tackles against Clemson.
Ole Miss missed 25 tackles against Louisville

LSU is going to dominate them and leave the starters in til the end.

All week, Coach will tell his team, "They wanted to kick you out of the league"!

LSU by at least 24.
