like I said before... this game doesn't mean anything... but I really don't like losing to arkansas

LSU had so many chances in this game and could never get over the hump

very poor relief pitching; no clutch hitting; great pitching by Hogs; and, oh yes, the Hogs know how to BUNT!

LSU isn't going to face anybody like Stanek in the tournament who has pitched against them enough to know all their tendencies. Arky had to have this game after their disappointing regular season to have a chance at hosting. LSU is in an enviable position, and PM made the right call to rest Nola here. It would be nice to pick up some wins in this tournament but it really makes no difference except to some of the people emerging from the wood works.

get the frick out of here with that logic

And I wonder what happens yesterday if the left fielder doesn't let the ball go through his legs against Alabama.

Team should head home tonight. They are to good to play in this thing. Should be single elimination, why do they need to play again. Do we go straight to CWS after this?

Good job, Astro. I'm astounded by the number of game thread neophytes in here, and some of their comments.

Yes, isnt that the goal of evey season. To make it to Atlanta? oh thats rt it was the goal, but our fans quickly changed their tune to we have to win it all every year or we suck.

lets say we lost the SEC championship still went to the ship and beat bama, would you rather have that?

quote:

Sorry but how bout we lose to bama, dont win the sec and dont play for a bcs championship game, cus thats exactly what would have happened.
