I would say yes but defenses made adjustments after the Alabama game. I really hope he proves me wrong but as of now he is a one read QB and has a lot to prove before I give him a ranking that high in the SEC

From his mouth to Gods ears.

I don’t believe it but if it’s true we are in for a very good year.

You realize after the Bama game, it was the flu game with Arky and the A&M game where he got hurt right? He looked pretty damn good against Purdue, and he beat Bama in his first year here (not to mention won the west). I’ll take my chances with the best returning QB in the SEC

Again the only people that don’t believe Jayden Daniels is a good QB is a certain portion of the LSU fanbase.

I mean it's not a deep field of returning QBs to begin with and I could probably be sold on a case for KJ Jefferson as the best but I'm happy to have Daniels

a lot of us believe he is a good qb, but not a great one. we hope he is great this year. but defenses were handling him by the end of the season. easily. purdue was so bad and shorthanded they don't count.

he has progressed, but i still don't trust him to run a passing offense. But, he will start so i will be cheering for him.

I have never understood the media’s love fest for this guy. Daronte Jones’ crappy defense shut his arse down and he has never won a big game.

In your opinion, what RETURNING QB is better?

He could be shite and still be the best returning QB. The post isn't about how good he is, it's about how good he is compared to other returning QBs in the SEC.

McElroy makes it seem as if Daniels was bad against FSU. Uh.. He completed over 70% of his passes for 209 yards 2tds, 0ints, rushed for over 100 yards on 7ypc. Dude battled drops and an inept offensive line with no time to throw - he was sacked 4 times and hurried a bunch more. He single handidly had us in that game from an offensive perspective. The article says his numbers were boosted by 2 late tds.... yeah 2 late tds in a comeback that should have gotten us to overtime. Not exactly garbage time tds.

Will Rogers will be starting for his 4th season. No idea what offense he will be running without Leech. Rogers is very accurate.
