2 way ties:
If we 2 way with Vandy, we are the higher seed. 10-8 vs common opponents to their 9-9. Texas/Arkansas would be 1/2. LSU would be 3rd. (Arkansas, LSU and Vandy all win tomorrow)

If we 2 way tie with Arkansas, we are the higher seed. We won the series. Texas would be 1. LSU would be 2nd. (Vandy and Arkansas lose, LSU wins tomorrow)

If we 2 way tie with UGA, UGA would be the higher seed - 13-8 vs common opponents to our 12-9. Texas/Arkansas/Vandy would be 1/2/3. LSU would be 5th. (LSU loses, Vandy and UGA win)

Worst case scenario is LSU loss, Vandy and UGA win. We would play on Wed in Hoover.

3 way ties:
LSU, Vandy and Arkansas: Vandy is 5-1 vs common opponents, LSU is 3-3, Arkansas would be 2-4. Texas would be 1. LSU would be 3rd. (LSU and Vandy win, Arkansas loses)

LSU, Vandy, UGA: UGA would be 10-5 vs common opponents, LSU 8-7, Vandy 7-8. Texas/Arkansas would be 1/2. LSU would be 4th. (LSU and Vandy lose, UGA wins)

I find it interesting that 1 & 4 play Thursday games while 2 & 3 play Friday games.

That's all a little wonky, because the common opponents play tomorrow as well.

yikes, losing series to USC (giving them just their 2nd series win on the year), losing out on a double bye in the SECt, and losing first game in Hoover could potentially put a top 8 seed at risk.

Just win. Big game tomorrow!

There is only one way those games could go for the tie to happen.

For LSU and UGA to tie, UGA has to beat A&M tomorrow. If UGA loses, LSU and UGA would both be 12-9 vs common opponents, but LSU would stay a game ahead in the standings.

But I’m probably missing something obvious.

I don't know, I didn't check, but I feel like LSU just has to win and everything takes care of itself. If they lose, then it's out of their hands.

Win tomorrow and we lock up a top 4 seed in the tournament too. I know winning the tournament won't matter, but at least we won't play until Thursday or Friday AND we would play no more than 3 game next week.

Also interesting, if Tennessee loses tomorrow, I think there is a chance they could finish 9th in the league. Hard to believe.

If they win tomorrow they will be either the 2 seed or the 3 seed and won’t have to play until Friday.

MS state was dead to writes 3 weeks ago. If the best Missouri today and Fl and OK lose the could be 10th in league after being 14th at one point over a month ago.

Hopefully, LSU can put the game out of reach while Eyanson is still on the mound. I don't love handing the game over to the pen in a close game.

this would be nice. Get back on a Fri-Sun rotation in Hoover and the BR regional will be Fri-Sun too

Let’s get the W today Tigers!

All because we blew the game against SC on Thursday.

Then they returned the favor by getting shutout at home by A&M. This only happens if LSU loses again.
