Homer goggles say give it to Bregman. And I was sitting in the corner down right field for that hit, it was amazing.
Though that was in the 7th and it was a double.
That at bat was a homerun in the 9th.

Battle of the top two ranked teams with a flame thrower on the hill making great pitches in a crucial situation.
This game on now had a great AB, no doubt. But it's not "AB of the year in the SEC" in importance or epic nature of the two talents going head-to-head.

I'll concede because Geaux Tigers.
Another note. Does anybody who is still awake know who Arkansas will pitch tomorrow?

James Teague I would think? We knocked him around.
Dominic Tacollini was the one who beat us, but it looks like they moved him to relief. He could still start though.

Gotcha, no complaints here that they burned Taccolini for a couple of days.
James Teague 8 starts in 18 appearances, 47.1 innings, 4-3 record, 3.42 ERA, 24BB/41K, .246 BA against
The first time we saw him this season was his start in the Saturday game.
his line was: 3.0 innings, 7 hits, 4 runs, 2BB
eta: a little lagniappe from D1 baseball

There’s no team in college baseball more capable of quickly crushing dreams than top-ranked LSU.

We said this numerous times during the LSU home series against Texas A&M and at other times this season, but the recipe for success against the Tigers is getting up enough to where they can’t come back to bite you. Until that happens, more cases like Auburn on Wednesday night will continue to occur. They’ll just keep crushing dreams.

Taccolini hasn't been moved to relief. He was today because McKinney has a hip injury.
If McKinney is feeling better, he can still go. If not it will probably be Teague tomorrow... well, today.
Arkansas pitching in the SECT
Kilian 7.2
Jackson 2.1 (over 2 days)
McKinney 1.0
Taccolini 3.0
Alberius 0.2
Phillips 2.1
Lowery 1.0

So I see the Pigs came back late and won. Hope they used up lots of pitching.
Posted on 5/21/15 at 7:15 am to TigerCub
They pieced it together like us. No one they used is out after today.

yeah, i had pretty much penciled in Florida.
Every game yesterday was a 1 run game?
box score doesn't show number of pitches. But arky used 6 pitchers.

FWIW, this will be the 3rd straight year we've played Arkansas in this round of the tournament.
Posted on 5/21/15 at 7:48 am to TigerCub
while i was glad we had a delay yesterday. I sure hope games go as scheduled today.
Posted on 5/21/15 at 7:50 am to LSUTygerFan
delayed screwed me. i had to leave the house when it was 8-3.
Posted on 5/21/15 at 7:50 am to LSUTygerFan
Me too, especially since we're the late game tonight. I didn't see much of Arkansas/Florida since it started so late... I am staying up for our game though.

i work til 4 so, getting home by 4:30 was going to be a stretch.
but delaying an 8pm game on thursday would suck

I think Van Horn likes him best in the pen with his sinking double play ball pitch type. If Teague keeps playing better like he has lately Taco will stay in the pen but if not he will be the 3rd starter

So I assume LSU is going to put Bain on the mound today.
I wish LSU would be playing the 4:30 game today. It would be more of an advantage for the #1 seed since the other game ended after 1 am.
