After watching the replay of the game (I missed everything up until the 5th inning rally), I'm convinced there needs to be some sort of minimal competency test for umps.
The guy behind the plate was comically bad. The first base guy--what can I say.
I think an eye exam at least should be required.

home plate ump was more worried about drawing attention to himself than getting the calls right.

I'm just going down the line picking every team on the left. Only thing I can say about Auburn is that if they come out like they did yesterday...UF better be ready. If they come out down after losing an 5 run lead, then UF runs away with it.

No reason that I can think of other than you typically say the winning score first when speaking. I would put the visiting team first to keep that clear, but then again I wouldn't make that ugly arse bracket they put together either.
