Alabama Court (federal or otherwise) has zero jurisdiction over LSU.

Period.

I don't know where these fricking retard lawyers went to law school.

Now, you know damn well that bastard Sankey will have the refs call holding on every damn offensive play for LSU. This guy is the devil.

They’re trying to follow the Big 12 Sorsby playbook step by step without taking into account that it’s a fundamentally different issue and situation.

I’m thinking they got proof (THEY BETTER) that Kiffin was coercing them to sue the NCAA

I worry that the SEC is going to "direct" its referees to ignore penalties or go after LSU , affecting outcome of some of the games this season

Even if we did it, it was before the SEC hurriedly made up their new rule. They don’t have a fricking leg to stand on.

deliberate and coordinated campaign to recruit professional athletes to play football for LSU
Was this against the rules? You can't call a guy who's not on a SEC roster and say he'd be welcome at LSU if he can become eligible?

I can’t believe these fricking assholes are doing this. Can’t it just be a “hey you can’t do that, they can’t be added to your team. It’s against xyz rule.”
“Well that sucks but ok, we were just chatting about Pokémon anyway”

Lane already said he’d comply with their ruling. All this is fricking bullshite.

quick question for the lawyers and common sense folk

IF the SEC didn't make a rule banning that until last week, even IF kiffin did it, what was he in violation of AT THAT TIME?

ETA: also if de’quan has receipts of other sec coaches recruiting him, why is Kane/lsu being singled out? Doesn’t that show a biased attack on an individual school?

I truly do not understand this. Why are Sark, Golding, Drink, Cal, Dennis Gates, and many others not included in this suit?

It makes zero sense. Why is this a hill they're trying so hard to die on?

And claiming it as a 1A violation is wild...

I think we're gonna just end up running out of time on this whole situation honestly
