In his article in Monday mornings Advocate Rabalais writes that in the Dawkins trial, "further testimony came forward alleging that Wade gave $300,000 to former Tiger Naz Reid to attend LSU." This is not what was said in court. In the witness testimony he said Wade contacted him about a job and that Wade, 'had $300,000 for Naz" not that he gave it to him. And this is a local journalist, not some clown from Yawho. This is an outright LIE. Hell, LSU and WW don't need the national media to paint a negative image of the school, local journalist are doing it right here. Maybe this doesn't bother most people, but it does bother me that the Advocate would allow such lies to be printed in it's paper. Tell the truth or STFU!!! Or go get a job with the National Enquirer!!!

You’re right, when Wade talks of strong arse offers and having $300,000 he’s just clowning around.

A distinction without a difference, imo.

Geez, when will you people give it up?

Show me where he talked of 300k straight to Naz?

quote:

Reid flat out denied the allegation when he was asked Thursday whether he was paid $300,000 to go to LSU by head coach Will Wade. "It didn’t happen," he said, per Jeff Goodman of Stadium. "There was no deal." The accusation came from the recent trials into the corruption surrounding college basketball. Former Arizona assistant Emanuel "Book" Richardson was shown on video discussing the recruitment of Reid and said LSU had $300,000 in place for the center, per Matt Norlander of CBS Sports. Wade had also discussed potentially getting Richardson a job on his staff. "I said listen, s--t, give me half that and I'll make sure he goes there," Richardson said on the recording.

Can you people not fricking move on by now? shite.

So testimony from a third party is the same thing as proof of payment.
I hope you are never on a jury involving a capital crime.

He's an Alleva guy. With Alleva gone, he's in a tough spot. Either he finds another insider to feed him info, or he's on the outside looking in. I'm sure he's salty about that. And, he probably blames Wade.

College athletes who get paid don’t get paid near that much. Especially someone like Naz, who’s a good player but no Zion Williamson. This article is silly

There is much irony in this statement given that he was the mouthpiece for Alleva the last 10 years.

Do you not have an understanding of what the word allegedly means?

Where in the world did Rabalais say there was proof of payment

The fact that you actually believe a recruit would get that kindve money shows just how ignorant you are. Even if someone believed Wade paid players go check the accused amounts and you’ll see how stupid and out of wack they are.

- Naz, a top 15 recruit allegedly got 300k

-Smart was ranked at least 10 spots lower but allegedly received 850k

- Jarrell Martin ranked higher than Naz allegedly got 65k

If you’re not smart enough to see through obvious BS can’t you at least understand the value/expense ratio? Lol my god you’re dumb.

It takes him 5 hours to write 10 lines. 1 line stop for 30 minutes to eat.
