Good points, but it would not surprise me if this team was somewhere near an NCAA record for LOB in a season.
Again, that's a function of our OBP. LSU was 4th in the nation in getting on base this year. The next best SEC team was Kentucky, at #18.
It stands to reason that the more people you have on base, the more you have left on base.

I wonder how many runners we left on all year? It’s gotta be up there

White should have scored when he was on 2nd and a hit to right field and he stood at 3rd. The throw never went home.
Bases loaded and a screamer was hit in the hole but Florida SS made a great play. Would have plated 2 for sure.
Another bases loaded and white at the play and he hits a ground ball to end the inning.
Jobert comes up with the ball at the wall that is one less run for Florida. Easily LSU could have won by more than UF did in Game 2. Oh well still great to win and have number 7

IF you have a real job (doubtful) do you take credit for other accomplishments there as well

It’s easy to look good against the sisters of the poor but just wait until they play a team with a pulse.
My dude…. They just beat a team who was the #1 team in the country the last 1/3 part of the season… With LSU being #1 pre-season and for 13 weeks until WF took it from them.
LSU just beat that same #1 Wake Forest team twice after playing them 3 times in 4 days…. Oh, and to get the honor of getting to play an undefeated WF team now LSU only had to beat little ole Tennessee two freaking times.
It’s just not even worth talking about what went on with #1 seed in their bracket Florida bc the fricking men LSU left on base is too much and a deal breaker. So frick it, they did ok beating elite teams and held up the trophy us fans think about and some probably even pray for. I think that deserves at a minimum 5 min of positivity about the team while celebrating, ESPECIALLY LSU’s baseball coach.

I was being sarcastic bc earlier in the year people were posting crap like that any time the team didn’t look great or even if they did some were saying “wait til they get into conference play it’ll be a different story!”
Well it wasn’t. They won the whole damn thing.

Keep dreaming. Jay isn't a big game coach. He lacks in-game adjustments.

My favorite baseball season because of the way the team fought through everything in their path. Those guys were the epitome of team

I remember that post, I think it may be the thread where Lester and I went back and forth about the trade off of a little less defense for more offense in Jay’s system. I said I preferred Jay’s approach.

I'm more worried about the bullpen. Too shaky.

You have no clue asswipe
I happen to have a masters and specialist degree from LSU
I am also very proud to be a boomer
Maybe if your generation showed the work ethic mine did this country wouldn’t be in decline
Get a job loser

A special team has multiple players step up in crunch time. That is what I will remember about this impressive group of young men. They played together like it was a brotherhood. That is heart warming.
