Last night does not change our outlook on the season but it did knock down a potential, and far-fetched hurdle that may have existed if there were muliple BCS conference undefeated teams

Did anyone see the pain on Craig James' face after the game? He was saying how he thought that this USC team was one of the greatest teams ever and how they had the best defense in all of college football.
In general, I do not hate USC. ESPN has made them a target in the PAC-10. All they were talking about is USC running the table.
The rest of the PAC-10 have been listening to this since January. To them, it probrably sounds like an utter lack of respect.

You guys haven't been paying close enough attention to what's happening in college football. The PAC10 is dismal right now and USC will not have the SOS to get them back into the NC hunt unless there are no 1 loss Big XII and/or SEC teams. Even a 1 loss Big 10 team would go ahead of them.

It's mathematically impossible for them to do it alone. They have no teams left on their schedule to give them any boost whatsoever.

I see I'm in the monority. Never stopped me from believing what I want to before. I went to LSU for 8 years, so my opinion is as valid as anyones elses. I think the goal of our season is getting to the SEC championship game. Winning that would be great. Worrying about the bowl game 3 games into the season is crazy. That's the point of this thread. I started it on the More sports board, but now I get every ranter in the world calling me a douche. So be it.
