The young man was committed to playing football at LSU. There are so many more that would have transferred out when Burrow showed up. He stayed and competed!! He has character!!

LSU football would be in a much better place if we had more players on the team like him. They play for LSU because they love LSU and when hit with adversity they don’t run. They tighten their straps up a little tighter and they compete!!

I hope our new HC can pick those guys out. Better to take a little less talent and more heart.

Better not make that an option here.

I will never understand the hatred for MB. The fans saying he sucked are the worst.

so does Burrow not have character since he transferred out of Ohio State?

College players have a limited time to play ball. The vast majority won't play pro ball, so this is it for them.

I don't blame anyone for transferring to get playing time. It has nothing to do with character or commitment. People must do what's right for them, after weighing all the circumstances and options.

Now, I do have a problem with guys that opt out for suspect reasons or give less than full effort while they're here.

But I've got no beef with players that want to go elsewhere to get some playing time.

I don't think anyone hates Brennan. The guy worked hard and did his best. I salute him for that.

I just don't think he's very good.

And yet he is leaving when he is almost assured to be the starter next year? Your post makes no sense?

That’s putting words in my mouth. Joe is the GOAT!! He stayed at Ohio State until the end. He competed! Brennan did the same! Nothing but respect for both on how they handled themselves.

what universe do you live in?

We'll have Max, Nuss, and Howard next year. Oh, and a new coach with an unknown offensive scheme.

Brennan starting next year is nowhere close to assured, or even likely, in my opinion.

If Brennan thought it was, he'd stay. Maybe that tells you something.

Yeh b/c LSU is a QB factory right His numbers in his first 3 starts prove that he had no business playing qb for LSU

what were his third down and red zone percentages? losing to state when they turned the ball over 3 or 4 times was terrible and that mizzou game one third down was pathetic.

So he didn't have JB 2019 type numbers...oh man yeh he sucked. He showed promise and qbs get better with game reps. See JB 2018 to 2019. You were probably one of the dumbasses saying MB should start over JB going into 2019

Did Howard reaffirm his commitment lately? Everything I read states it’s not a slam dunk anymore.

. Lol. All I asked were what were his red zone numbers and third down percentages? They were god awful. That is a fact. No unlike Brennan burrow was tough and made critical plays against good competition in 18 despite having ensminger as his OC. Brady brought in a system to cater to burrows strengths and magic happened. But continue to melt. Maybe when you get Os balls out of your mouth you may respond with facts rather than the bullshite you just posted

This is the dumbest argument. There was a clear drop off at the QB position once he got hurt. We still have not had the same productive QB play this year.

Max Johnson is not the problem with our team but he is far from the answer at QB right now. The offense is very limited with him.

Based on the sample this far

Brennan >>>max & nuss, you think a true freshman is going to unseat him.

The coaching will undoubtedly be better than the shite show of the last 2 years.

High School QBs need to be developed for the college game.
They all come in with the swell head because they were the king in High School.
The good ones seize the opportunity to develop and adhere to the process to become adept at the position through study and repetitive coaching. The rest remain High School QBs.
LSU is not known for its college QBs because LSU has never had great QB coaches and certainly has no process to develop those kids.
Myles Brennan had glaring weaknesses. Myles is an awful football name and is too reminiscing of Les Miles. Other than that, he was just an undeveloped High School QB.

Some on this board will still be sucking Brennan's dick 10 years from now. He is transferring because he knows he is not the best QB on the roster. If he understands this, then why cant his fan club????
