Maybe they need to realize that they aren’t bigger than the program. Load up the transfer portal. The grass isn’t always greener on the other side.

Colston comes to mind as another WR who was anything but a Diva. But they ARE few and far between...

Which ones of ours that are in the portal are divas?

Palmer - wasn't cutting it and left to go with his WR coach

Moore - lost PT to Bech

Deion Smith - got hurt and is looking to be closer to home

Alex Adams - no PT except special teams

Davonte Lee - no PT and almost out of eligibility

None of these are really divas. These are all expected portal casualties. The WRs we have in the locker room would be ahead of all of these guys except Smith.

The only real diva we lost was Ricks.

I came in this thread thinking that we had a WR on the team with the last name “Divas” that I had never heard of. A Hispanic and I was assuming he was transferring.

Please go down the list of receivers who left and explain how they were divas

Do you have any inside information to call those guys divas?

Lee was willing to change positions seemingly every season. Palmer just couldn't hold on to the ball. I never saw those guys bitch about not getting playing time, fail to block, or chew out a QB for not getting them the ball.

So the WRs that transfer from LSU are divas but the ones that transfer to LSU aren't?

Yes, this position will be like a revolving door with players leaving every year. Committed for a year, not getting the ball, no NIH, diva transfers.

Yep we got the #4 wide receiver from UL Kyran Lacy...yea!!
He actually did worse this year than he did last year per his stats for the Cajuns. When he told them he was going into the portal he got a standing ovation..

I think the best receivers ain't right in the head, at least along a spectrum. It's a self-selection of prima donnas where the shiftiness in their moves is also going on in their heads. But they can ruin a team.

If I recall correctly, Eric Martin's (ET) first play at LSU was a 100 yard kickoff return. Wendell Davis was another great Tiger. We have almost always had stud receivers. Palmer, Lee, etc they aren't divas. Maybe something was whispered in a meeting with Coach Kelly. And their coach left. Just young men making decisions concerning their lives.

Did you watch him play? He had less catches for a better average and more td’s than last year. He lead the team in receiving td’s. He made people miss on those as well. You have no clue about his play.

Do you think each of these wide receivers entering the transfer portal will land at another school?
