Can't help you if you don't know the differences between those interim situations and actually running and maintaining a program

You can't argue with O supporters, they're detached from reality. No amount of facts can change it.

Like him or not, O is our coach now. As a fan, I want him to succeed as that means my Tigers are succeeding as well. Don't see how you could feel any differently as a Tiger fan. Whether he does or not will depend on him and time will tell.

This. Horse. Is. Dead. No sense in continuing to whip it.

I don't know why this kid is transferring, nor do I care, since I've never heard of the kid.

The season hasn't started and we get 14 pages on a transfer and most of its debating about the coach. This place will always have something to bitch about. Jefferson v Lee, Les Miles offense, coach O's qualifications, etc. Chicken

Well, just wasted 10 mins going through this thread looking for some actual info on the transfer.
Someone start a new one that actually applies to Saivion and isn't just a forum for the rantards who have been waiting for the first little hiccup of the O era, so they could get back on the hate train.

Cant help that you dont know the difference between Ole Miss and LSU.Ole Miss is one of the 2 worst programs in the SEC West and the only one other than newbie A&M to never have gone to Atlanta.

Too bad you cant see the difference in LSU talent level and Ole Miss talent level which Orgeron inherited.

Too bad you cant see the difference in coaching with Dave Aranda and Matt Canada vs whoever he could get to come to Ole Miss.

I guess the baseball success has the negatards restless. Savion finally gave them something to bitch about.

We have two Jr's starting at corner, Fulton was possibly the #1 corner in the country, you got Vincent Jr coming in who was one of the top if not the top corners in the country coming in. Not to mention Greedy and others. Yet, the negatards are panicking!

They know nothing about the player other than he was a five star. They don't know his character, work ethic, talent, etc. however, it has to be the ignorant coonass's fault that he is transferring. The irony of that statement.

He was one of the top DBs in the country, and #31 overall player in the country.

And this is why some of you need to stop drooling over star rankings. Some of you automatically assume because someone is a five star Rank by some dumb hapless Scout..... That they will be freshman All-America.

I remember watching the A&M game and thinking he look extremely bad

That said, I'm not bashing the kid and wish him good luck wherever he plays

I don't think anyone has made the argument that Ole Miss is a top program. He wasn't fired at Ole Miss because he didn't meet LSU standards, he was fired for being a massive failure even by the low Ole Miss standards. That is a fact, not an opinion.

I can see the difference. And failing at a lower level shouldn't give you an opportunity to fail at a higher level.

Herman at LSU would have struck concern into Bama.

Herman in his second year at Houston with the most talented team in the conference gained 303 yards total offense against SMU and 287 against Tulane. Yeah, no shite - SMU 303 yards and Tulane 287 yards.

That wouldn't scare freaking Vanderbilt, much less Nick Saban and Alabama. I think other SEC schools would have preferred LSU to hire the kissing bandit that brought his high school staff with him to Texas.

Saban lost to UAB and ULM.

Bill Belichick was fired from Cleveland. He should have never got a h.c. job again. I leave Pete Caroll's several firings out of the mix.

He took them to the playoffs and was fired after the next season. Let's not act like he was a massive failure in Cleveland

Both Belichick and Carroll have much better resumes than Orgeron. None went from failed head coach of a shite program to journeyman position coach to then getting the opportunity to be the head coach of a premier team.
