ideally, they'd want two playoff teams in the SECCG. 1 loss SEC champ Bama is most definitely a shoe in. or, obviously, undefeated SEC champ UGA. 2 loss LSU SEC champ.. not so much.

A 11-1 Big 12 champ Texas is definitely in the playoff over a 2 loss SEC Champ

Yep I’m waiting for it! LSU will have to beat Bama and the refs not only tom., but for the rest of the season! They’ve already been calling BS calls all season on LSU’s offense especially! The holding on offense calls to kill our momentum, taking TD back etc. It’s sickening, and from here on out the calls will get worse unfortunately. Wait for it!
Also, it’s been proven that Bama vs Georgia matchup brings more viewers which advertisers want! The more viewers the more money they make! Bama vs LSU is now 2nd place for the most watched games in the SEC West. Bama vs Tennessee usually ranks pretty high as well. These stars matter I promise! ESPN contributes millions to the postseason of CFB and they always seem to favor Bama over LSU. Somebody will be sending the SEC refs some money! I hope I’m wrong but money talks!!

Maybe not but being that the CFP is expanding next year, so they don’t have to let a two loss team in this year. It opens the door for every two loss to cry about getting in and yes I know next year there will be lots of 2 loss teams in the CFP, but not every 2 loss team unless they have to do so. It doesn’t really matter either way because several teams in front of us would have to lose at least once or maybe even twyce for us to jump them. Only leg we have to stand on is that LSU is # 1 on SOS currently.

Yep it’s disgusting too. They tried to steam the game at the end last year. Bama had scored ZERO TD the first 3 quarters with their Heisman QB. First TD Bama scored came beginning of the 4th quarter only because of a BS PI call on LSU on Bama’s 4th down. They scored 2 TD on penalties. They also took back a fumble LSU recovered citing some very rare rule that even the announcers like Kirk Herbstreit laughed at basically insinuating it was a BS call.

Ugh FSU is still undefeated so what do you mean by loses another game? Lol it only helps us if they win out. Yea we need some at the top to lose & fall in the rankings, but not the team we lost to that’s the highest ranked team we’ve played thus far. ???????

Our shot at the CFP died (or at least went on life support) when OMiss came from behind and beat us with :30 left in the 4thQ.
In 2023 the problem (for an 11-2 SEC Champ LSU) is that the PAC12 and BIG10 are thought stronger than the SEC. PLUS, Fla State at 13-0 is in. A 1-loss Big12 team and a 1-loss PAC12 champ are both gonna be IN.
1. Big10 Champ
2. Fla State
3. PAC12 champs
4. Big12 champs (IF it is 12-1 Texas or 12-1 Oklahoma)
LSU (in this scenario)'s best shot if for Texas and OU each to lose one more game and/or NOT win the Big12.
