1997, and it was glorious.
Also, Jeremy Witten hit a crucial home run in the CWS National Championship Game in 2000 against Stanford.
I can’t remember if it was Blair Barbier or Witten who hit the game tying homer, but I think it was Witten.
LSU was trailing 5-2 and couldn’t get anything going, then I believe it was Barbier who hit a two run homer to make it 5-4, then Witten hit the game tying homer a little later.
Cresse had the game winning single. I ran on the field after the game, twice, and I was in the Army at the time and could have out ran those security guards all day, but gave myself up the second time.

Update - I am getting word that the game time for baseball will be moved. I will update once I get confirmation. The reason I asked originally is that I am coming from out of town to see both events.

The only people going out to watch an Offense vs Defense "Spring Game" at 1pm are Ultra Pump Lumps with nothing else to do.

It will be difficult to move the baseball game back since it’s the final game of the series. Lsu would probably have to help with a chartered flight for Missouri to

Baseball needs to start 30 min after spring game.
Since it’s streaming only there’s no TV time slot constraint. I’m sure Lyn and Ronnie would hang around; otherwise just sync it up with Blair.

Confirmed with two VERY reliable sources that Mizzou is spending the night and Saturdays baseball game will be moved back. LSU should announce time today.

Well, $#it...I guess I'm doing 2 events. Coming in from out of town, was going to park at my hotel that's 1/2 a mile South from the Box. How far of a walk is it from the Box to Death Valley? 10 minutes? First time to LSU so any help is appreciated.
