He backtracked later on and said he didn't expect that to happen. Whoever screen grabbed that and leaked it (conveniently) forgot to include that part

I would think it has to be more than NIL as the reason she is leaving . One of your top retiring players you’d figure LSU would do what it takes to keep her .

Considering how much LSU is losing would she not have that at LSU? And she would have help compared to Ole miss...

Could be, but who knows. LSU could have better transfer portal players lined up to come. I do know that besides the last couple of games, minus Morrow, the post has had very little production.

MK has so many NIL deals, SaMyah didn’t have anywhere near what MK and 4 are getting. She’s probably going to somewhere that can fork over more cash to the 4th best player on a team.

lets hope this is like the khamil pierre thing over at vandy. they announced that she was leaving too and it turned out they were wrong.
OR
aliyah nye (the 3 point shooting phenom) at bama entered her name in the portal last year and a couple weeks later she withdrew. so maybe we can keep our fingers crossed that sa'myah has a concussion from yesterday and isnt thinking straight!

I don't know for a fact, but I'd be willing to bet that Kim is the type of coach that would tell a player that once they hit the portal, coming back is not an option. And I wouldn't blame her.
