What if and that’s a big arse if but what if the offense improves and we win say 10 games . If we boycott the games and don’t support these kids for something they can’t control you can kiss the top recruits for 2019 goodbye

Did you miss the memo regarding our recent status change to “basketball school”?

After about the 2nd or 3rd game you will be able to tell which direction the program is headed.

We fired Miles because he could only win 10 games but not the SEC or a National Championship. If we accept Miles level achievement from Orgeron, why did we get rid of Miles?

I wasn't a fan of the way we hired Orgeron but gave him the benefit of the doubt when he said he would bring in the best coordinators. With the Canada exit and the Ensminger deal, said "benefit" is now gone.

Our administration and coaching staff are not interested in competing for championships.

Thinking rationally would be realizing we turned the team over to our dline coach who forced reluctant te coach to be oc after one year hire / fire…. Instead of hiring Jimbo we let him go to division rival. The run is ending

Miles had two 8-5 seasons. The decline was real. The offense was painful to watch. It wasn't great this year, but it showed more promise than leslie's offense,

Next season was always going to be about the QB, nothing changes in that regard.

Rationally it's the only hire to make if you're primarily focused on short term.

There's no new coach to possibly disrupt team chemistry and a cohesive coaching staff

He's already familiar with the players and personnel, already knows what the HC wants which leads to the easiest path to a true identity on offense

He's a former Tiger QB and absolutely loves LSU. There is extra motivation to have a productive offense, more so than any other coach they could have hired

All this being said he will still need help in some capacity because his work load will be too much. Someone to help with film breakdown and gameplan prep. Sullivan seems like a logical choice for that role.

If we come out and roll Miami and another good team early well then fans won’t be a problem.

So, obviously, we fired the OC and hired the TE coach to replace him.

If Brennan doesn’t do well, it’s the staff’s fault for not developing him.

If Brennan does well, he developed himself in spite of the staff.

The first game is vs Miami. We will know how the season will end based on the play in this game. IF LSU wins they will be competitive. IF LSU loses, they will probably have a 6-6 or 7-5 record.
O and Allevia should be fired with a 7-5 record or worse in 2018.

If Brennan or Narcisse emerge as playmakers...

...combined with expected DL dominance from Lawrence, Fehoko, Shelvin, Alexander, et al

...this could be a 10-win team.

Our fans should support the team and show up to games regardless of what's going on in the AD. And if people don't want to go, they should give their tickets to people who will. I'm sorry, but I will never support any type of boycott of the team. People may want to send a message to the AD, but they're also sending a message to the rest of the players around the country that our fans suck. If people really want to sink the program and make the next guy's job harder if and when Orgeron doesn't work out, then go right ahead, but I won't be a part of it.

So yes, I agree with you. If our fans on here are reflective of the rest of the base, it could easily affect our 2019 class

Dumb argument is dumb

Alabama just won a national championship with a first year OC and second year DC. If your had coach is legit the coordinators shouldn't matter. Unfortunately our head coach isn't
