Heading to the Top of the 5th.

Sewell(0-1), Cobarrubias(1-1), Cortez(0-1) due up for Sac State.

Schmidt back on the mound for LSU at 62 pitches.

Sac State leads 2-0.

I got blasted for saying this the other day.

But it's 100% true and anyone disagreeing with him are in denial.
The issue is most people commenting are completely uneducated on the issue of revenue sharing. Revenue sharing and NIL are completely different things. Rev sharing is capped at 20.5 million this season for all sports, with an expected 4% increase per year. NIL is not currently capped and LSU baseball has great NIL support.

LSU gets to choose the rev share distribution, but decided to use the most commonly used and discussed model of 75/15/5/5. I’ve read, but not vetted, that every SEC team outside of MSU decided to use that model this year. LSU may adjust and change the distribution, but the common insinuation is that LSU intentionally shorted baseball - and that is simply not true.

We have to believe what we’re seeing at some point. These aren’t outliers. The sooner we can except that this is not a championship caliber team the sooner you can just enjoy this season for what it is.

Jay himself said it. Serna and Braun are freshman. I am speaking of NIL available to spend in the portal.

You’re allowed to feel however you’d like. We’ll just say you’re being dumb if you say something dumb.

Most of this lineup can't hit offspeed if their life depended on it. I wouldn't throw a fastball through most of this lineup.

You have to give it to them.

They came into the #2 team's house and were shelled game 1 and shook it off and have played well.

If we don't like it then we need to stop them.
