Yep. Wonder what homeboy thinks of the electric baseball programs of Air Force, UC San Diego, and Utah Grand Valley.

Jay wasn't joking about NIL, because most of these guys are looking like scrubs at the moment.
This transfer class was widely praised in the offseason. All of them crushed Sacramento State level pitching where they were last year. Serna and Braun were two of the best hitting prospects to make it to college.
Blaming NIL for not beating able to hit Sacramento State and Dartmouth is funny

I got blasted for saying this the other day.
But it's 100% true and anyone disagreeing with him are in denial.
The NIL lack of funding excuse would work if we're struggling in SEC play, but it 100% should have zero affect on losing (if this result holds) 3-of-4 to ULL and Sacramento State who have basically no NIL budget for baseball.

We shopping at Highpoint and Grand Canyon Univ.
Yeah imagine if we had to get players in the portal from Air Force or Indiana St.
I’d hate to have to get players from the likes of Delgado and Utah Valley and expect them to contribute.

If we keep McMahon I’m fine giving basketballs share to baseball
The answer seems obvious with a new AD. Get a new basketball coach and swap baseballs share with WBB. If Mulkey gets upset and wants to retire let her. Nobody will care if we're winning championships in football and baseball and become a regular tournament team in MBB

It would be fantastic if LSU can hit the baseball where the opposing team is not positioned in this inning.

Just need some titties to drop for the hard hit balls to drop honestly

Jake consistently hits the ball hard even if it gets caught.

Curiel up to bat, 1 Out.
Very high and outside, 1-0
Fouled out of play to the right, 1-1
Lined off the 2B glove, single!

Can this team quit hitting the ball where they are?

I'm not saying we are losing these gems because of funding.
I'm saying going forward in the future the amount of rev share LSU baseball is receiving is unacceptable imo.

But they did so I don’t have to.
My point is that the margins are small and random.
In an alternate universe, LSU doesn't come back from 5-1 down and Jay is the coach that failed to make a super regional in 3 out of 4 years.
Instead, he's the second coach to win 2 titles in 3 years.
This board's melt scale is only at like a 4 because of it.
Just an interesting thought.
