Saban 6-6
Dabo 8-5
Smart 8-5
So all you drama queens need to calm down. There is still a long way to go to see how Kelly’s tenure at LSU will turnout.

Kirby fired coaches after that first season and ended up with the #1 recruiting class
Dabo plays in a shite conference
You really want to compare Kelly to Saban? The greatest of all time. News flash he won't sniff that jock or success here even if he wins 1 natty. No coach will for a while.

I agree but we’re headed for 5-7 real quick.
Also to note the state of those programs when they joined the school. LSU was in shambles.

Great point. None of those coaches inherited a roster situation as bad as Kelly did at LSU

We said the same thing about Butch's and Pruitt's first years.
Dooley's as well.
Dooley's as well.

Quit riding Saban's junk. He wasn't comparing Kelly to Saban, he was simply giving Saban's record his 1st season at LSU

Why do you guys always leave Spurrier and Meyer off these lists?

Oh great. Now I feel much better.

Two of those coaches took over teams with really shitty records.... Richt coached Georgia was not bad.

Did you say the same thing about Heupel’s first year? He was 7-6

Because Saban, Dabo, and Kirby have won 6 of the last 7 National Championships.
While Meyer and Spurrier are out of coaching completely. Thats why

Kirby also nearly lost to Nicholls state in his first year at Georgia.

So if the greatest coach of all time went 6-6 why is Kelly supposed to never lose a game?
Posted on 10/9/22 at 4:26 pm to Magician2
You are STILL in meltdown mode I see lol
Posted on 10/9/22 at 4:52 pm to Lgrnwd
What is this actually supposed to prove. That he might end up good?
Posted on 10/9/22 at 4:55 pm to General4Heisman
Good point. I didn’t follow those guys before Tennessee. Did they all have multiple national championships at a lower level, multiple play off appearances, and 92 wins at a premier FBS program? I’ll hang up and listen.

If you had any brains at all you'd realize the massive divide between the programs that those coaches took over and the program that Kelly took over, but I guess that's asking too much
