At LSU. That’s been a topic of discussion this week after his comments this week. That stings. I have to admit that it eats at me.

Dude, we have a good chance this year. Stop worrying about decisions from over a decade ago. Saban left and we don’t like him now. Remember that. Joey Burrow is 10x better.

And there are still those that insist Les Miles accomplished what he did all by himself… Without riding on Sabin’s coattails. Imagine that…

He would have won some, no doubt, but he’s in a perfect situation, and the REC has unlimited resources to skirt the NCAA. I doubt LSU will ever compete on that level as Bama, and now Georgia ( guess how they learned). We will be more competitive with recent changes, but not the 5 you are guessing at...

Top 5 Biggest What If in LSU History

5. What if Les had switched to a spread
4. What if Bo Rein hadn't died
3. What if Mett starts all of 2011
2. What if RP11 stays out of trouble
1. What if Saban never goes pro.

It’s very unfortunate that this bothers you in 2019. You may need professional help.

He probably wins 5 here.

He also wouldn't have to be competing against a Bama powerhouse.

How have he wouldn’t have won five plus? He would have #1 recruiting classes almost every year. Same at Bama.

That's assuming the same roster and issues that Miles had. No clue if Saban really kicks off Perriloux, so who knows how 08-09 would have gone. Conversely, no guarantee he gets the same roster that Miles had from 10-12 either.

Bottom line is if Saban stayed, I have no doubt the W/L record, SEC and NC would have been greater from 2005-now that it has been. I just don't know if he would have replicated the Bama machine here.

Saban blew a 24 point lead at Bama vs Auburn and Cam, I’m gonna guess he wouldn’t have beaten them at Auburn. Also the make up of the team wouldn’t have been the same, maybe, most likely better but different

The first question is who is Sabin? The next is what exactly does this mean? The 2010-2011 teams were all Miles recruits the staff was all his hires, it was all his team. Whether he could have done that if we never had Saban is irrelevant but Okla St had 12 losing seasons in 13 years before Les was hired and he had 3 winning seasons in 4 years there

I don't know... You can't miss what you never had. It doesn't bother me that he left LSU. It bothers me that we have to play him every year.

This is the coldest of hot takes.

He likely would have given us more that Les and O but comparing them to the GOAT CFB coach is not logical. Its not like the other 2 were bums here
