Yet in the 2006 game against Auburn, they kept overturning calls on the field even though we had evidence it was th right call. The fumble, initially ruled as a catch, was then overturned to incomplete, even though he took three steps with the ball in control.

I don't buy this shite anymore. It is rigged.

I agree. He should move on and thank his lucky stars that he is still undefeated.

I wish they would, then we could find some guys that actually care about the integrity of their jobs, the game and the effort of the guys that actually PLAY the game.

Given how little officials make for the amount of criticism they've been receiving, Saban said there's no way he'd put himself through that torture.

Kinda crazy that the money they make was mentioned first with Saban.

You would think if you want to be around the game, officials could care less about the money.

A totally foreign concept for Nick.

They make $500 a game, which is about 3 1/2 hours work. With the number of unemployed and many in our nation make that a week, $500 for that amount of time isn't something to whine about.

It's the Saban-ego. He can't stand for anything to take the spotlight away from his success.

That doesn't mean they now have a W in that game either. Only, we did not get our fair chance.

Maybe Nicky should unass some of his fat salary and anti up some for the poor officials he feels so sorry for since they don't make that much when they give his team calls like they did this past Saturday.

I agree that Bama beat us, but the poor officiating just added insult to injury. Who knows what happens if we get that interception call to go our way. Still we screwed ourselves in other ways.

Saban is absolutely right about this. But it is equally right to say, that we will never know. Therefore, this drastic error that was easily refuted by video, will stand. An we further know that the crew in charge of getting the decision right did not have the COURAGE to do so.

If it was not a courage issue, then they are just to stupid to ref.

At least some of Saban's players show some class. In a post-game interview McElroy said of the Peterson interception, "Sometimes you get a break." Jones also acknowledged that Peterson was out of the game on his only big play.
