"This is unlike any LSU team we've ever played...they're not just lining up in I formation and trying to run the ball up the middle."

If that doesn't tell you all you need to know about LSU football for most of this decade...WOW. How easy it must have been for Saban on defense since 2008. What a damn shame.

We have all been saying it for years. I am surprised LSU has competed against Bama as well as they have doing that.

Most Miles teams literally played into the strength of Bamas D.

He also said "They don't make many mistakes". Another reference to Mad Les I'm sure.

Nope nope. I just learned in the other thread that LSU'S offense is putrid with a below average QB and les miles offense was ten times better.

We should run a toss dive to start the game just to catch them off guard.

Miles had an interview last year and was asked about how a team should attack bama. He said, there strength was stuffing the run between tackles, so we always wanted to attack that strength and have them break.

that logic by Miles made zero sense. this game is up to Burrow. if he can make throws and covert big plays then we have a good chance. every bama loss since Saban took over was majorly because of the other teams QB playing great.

I don't think this is the offense we ran last season

Yeah, it would be great if we did it effectively.

It doesn't matter if your offense is unpredictable, if you don't execute the plays.

Les may have been able to wear inferior teams with less talent with his goal line offense, but it’s not going to work against a team with 4 strings of NFL players in their front 7...

I wouldn't put too much stock in what Saban said to the media. His teams were built the same way...they were just a little better at it...

To be fair, Les Miles is retarded.

I would even go as far to say Bama's team in the 2008-2011 was built to stop LSU's and maybe Auburns running game. That is why A&M had success early on as they didn't just try and Big 10 shite like CLM did.

Sad really, like someone else mentioned, they knew what we were going to do and still were marginally successful for a while.

LSU is 102nd in passing offense. Saban is full of shite.
