No we’re not

you guys just have a complex about Bama. Grow a fricking pair. There’s no more Saban, they’re not unstoppable, they’re just a name. DeBoer will be there for a loonnnnng time and we just have to hope the guy who takes his spot isn’t a home run hire

How long did it take to get over our complex with Florida from the 90s? JFC get with the program

We beat Bama in 2000, '01 and '03-'07 and in '10 and '11.

We were 9-3 across those 12 seasons.

how fn dumb is this shite?

we beat them in 2000, 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2010, 2011. because miles choked in 2012 and 2014 does not mean we are jinxed.

in 2002 u had marcus randall who had guys wide open all night anmd he could not hit the broad side of a barn. then bamas sprint draw killed us.

i was there.

Always has to be a smart arse with the exception. Dude!! We don’t want to win just 2/10 meetings with Bama. Hell, 4/6 would be better than what we’ve had, but we’d all kinda like at least 50/50, but would love to see LSu win 6/10.

We did win 9 of 12 but it was 2000-2011 [first game]. We've been cursed since the Bama redo game.

LSU just doesn’t fare well historically in Tiger Stadium vs Alabama - even our best coaches have had terrible nights vs them in TS.

There is a reason the Gumps say

It was a horrible game. It's been discussed here the last few days in other threads.

Miserable weather and Alabama ran for 300 yards running the same play over and over.

For anyone that was at the 2000 game, first time LSU beat Bama in TS in 25 years, just remember when LSU muffed a punt, but recovered the ball and the refs tried to give the ball to Bama. Saban was yelling at the refs pointing at the jumbotron until they couldn't ignore it.

LSU has been exceedingly mediocre since 1/9/12 with the exception of 2019.

Given the talent in the state, there is always a chance to be elite via an exception like 2019, but for the last 13 of 14 seasons, LSU is average. As much as I despise Kelly, he is mostly maintaining the recent status quo.

That was Saban's third year for context, and it was a night game on ESPN.

yall really need to stop with all of this. we are not on the same level as UGA.

Don’t be an obtuse dumbass and argue just to argue.

What he’s saying is 100% correct. UGA being better than us during the 2020s doesn’t change that. LSU and UGA have both struggled mightily against Bama.

Have another well-deserved downvote

Another blowout with our second string QB that year. Cold, wet, and Bama ran the same play over and over and we couldn’t stop it.

Sounds familiar, minus the second string QB

Ed Orgeron never laid down to Bama like Brian Kelly.

He got beat 55-17 in 2020. 29-0 in 2018.

In fact that 2018 game was the 2nd game in a row in BR for O where the offense scored 0 points. We lost 10-0 in BR in 2016.

I was at that game and it was one of the most miserably cold games that I've been to in Tiger Stadium.

I said when I was walking out for the stadium on Saturday, that the only reason this year wasn't worse than the 2002 game was because at least it wasn't freezing cold this year. Similar kind of domination though.
