We lose our quarterback, our star defensive lineman, our defensive coordinator, our star safety, an even year schedule. We lose two games to two very good teams and suddenly Saban has taken on this God like persona. Suddenly every success we have had for the last three years has been because of the almighty Saban, even the National Championship. These kids were FRESHMEN when Saban was here. But he is so all-powerful that his coaching stayed with them for three more years and he magically formed a championship team without ever speaking another word to them.

You people make me sick with your Saban suckfest. Saban is a good coach but he's not our coach. We have a damn good football coach who is so far having a better post championship year than The Great One had even with the obstacles he has faced that were beyond his control. (Perriloux, Pellini) Give him a chance to fix the problems that he can (defense)and improve the ones he can with the limited resources he has (QB). If he doesn't, then he's fair game. It is totally useless to talk about what if Saban was still here, is Saban better than Miles, Saban, Saban, Saban.

Repeat after me: Saban is not our coach. He is irrelevant to our situation.

I figure any day there will be a TAF drive to build a museum like Bear Bryant's. We would probably have enough contributors on the Rant to get it started.

Saban is a narcissistic a-hole. He may be a good coach but he is a nut job! I am glad he is where he is. The coach and the fan base are a match made in heaven. Wait till next year when Bama is breaking inn a new QB with no experience. The Tide will turn on him.

I can't believe it's taken you this long to realize it.

And yet again, not one person has started a thread sucking Saban off. The only Saban threads started are those either 1) Trolling or 2) Defending Miles by starting a Saban thread.

and lester ricard transferring and leaving us without our QB of the future was no obstacle? marquise hill left early. mauck left early. clayton left early. or did you forget that?

and we got blown out in 2004. we got blown up in 2008. where was that 2nd horrible game like we just had against UGA?

And the team we have now is twice as talented overall.

And the team we have now doesn't play two teams as good as 04 UGA and 04 AU.

And we didn't have a dominant running game in 2004.

And so on and so forth.

people act like we had no losses after 2003, and that we lost the world when we lost flynn, but we lost our starting QB early after 2003 also

no I didn't forget that...but it wasn't Jimbo Fisher he lost, and I said RECORD, which, as I said, so far, is two losses.

we're running the same mediocre scheme that bo ran

we got gashed for yards and points last year once we started playing teams without horrible QBs

Yeah I agree Nick has been too much credit. He had a world class coaching staff with him.
