He was. But the point still remains. LSU has benefited from transfers WAYYYYYY more than it has hurt us. The same people who celebrate transfers coming in cry when every Tom, dick and Harry leave.

I think the reason Neal left was he didnt have a clear path to starting he thought he had and thats what he was wanting assurances on. The Josh Jordan tweet about wanting promises instead of competing and such came out right as Neal hit the portal and I dont think that was by mistake.

He was a grad transfer, not a transfer portal product. That wasn’t a thing until the fall of 2018.

No I don’t necessarily think they were “pushed out”, definitely not ALL of them at least… but I think if Jay really wanted/needed any of them, then they wouldn’t have entered the portal…

Pretty fair to say that if he really valued them, they would’ve had an easier decision on their future.
