I believe the term racist is misapplied and inappropriately used by folks on both ends of the spectrum egregiously.
It's a strong very strong word and should not be used lightly but is all the time IMHO, here and everywhere else.
I don't think RC is a racist but I do believe he plays the race card a lot and uses his position to do so to pander to the folks he feels the need to impress and get pats on the back from.
I think many of us here do the same, we get pats on the back for calling RC a racist, and that is playing the race card too. That does not make us racist, but it makes us no better in doing it....IMHO.

Ryan and ESPN are in contract negotiations…if he and ESPN part ways, it will be because of a $, not because of any thing else you people are here talking about.
Racist? Nope
Burning LSU gear? Just last week was announcing Underwood at a Super Bowl event full of LSU enthusiasm.
Not good at his job? Emmy winner says hello.
And if ESPN doesn’t want to pay him his worth, he’ll get picked up tomorrow by one of the other networks.
I get that y’all don’t like him…but don’t be as misinformed as you are when talking about racism, when discussing why he and espn and going through their contract negotiations.

Good post. What he did to the team during covid was absolute bull shite. But him being racist is a bit too far.
