He should welcome back ALL ex tiger's especially one like Clark that has lots of NFL experience and seems to be proud of LSU.

I just spent reading one of the most ridiculous threads ever, Miles is gone!! Let it go!! I am grateful for his contributions while he as at LSU, but it is ime to move on and one thing is certain, some LSU fans are son miserable SOB's and LSU will never get a Tom Sherman because of such.

How different would you feel if it was Will Blackwell?

You are the ones butt hurting over Miles. If not why are you still busting on him? He doesn't coach here any more. What's the motivation?

I know you people don't realize the hypocrisy of showing up day after day to crap on Miles, but insisting that anybody who takes up for him to,"let go".

He is gone. Try supporting the current coach. It means abandoning hatred, but you can do it if you try.

That's how "THE U" used to recruit! Well that and drugs, and hookers...anyway you get the idea.
They would bring back their stud players in the NFL all the time for college games. Lsu should do the same minus drugs or hookers

I have heard 'tis from other players not from the Miles era. U know it is true when first thing Bebe does is invite all former players back for team walk

From direct experience with Miles, I've seen how has handled former Saban players. I went to the indoor facility with a couple of LSU Saban players and just about everyone from the team, assistant coaches, and support staff were very friendly. Miles treated the party that I was like spies sent over by Saban, from Alabama, to commit acts of espionage.

ETA: Mind you a middle school aged kid was also in the party who is turning out to be a pretty good high school prospect. Maybe not LSU good, but might get there eventually.

So glad miles is gone. there is NOTHING special about miles as a person or his character. All these people think they know the man when they don't. You hear about him being arrogant and some of y'all want to dismiss it. Look at his actions. Dude was so arrogant he forced LSU to fire his arse in the middle of the season AFTER promising change. The following week the LSU offense goes off...yet dumbasses in here defend his character. Some of y'all are just comical.

O is politicking for the job hard. Invite former playets in get their support. Open practice to the media. He might come off as a simple coonass but don't underestimate him. He was asked a question today about recruiting, how he was recruiting since he may not he the head coach next year. He spun it into everyone was glad to see the tigers head coach in their school. Dude is trying his best to get this job.

But they didnt.. Terrance tolliver Russell sheppard honey badger rueben randall tharold Simon mettenberger lee the list goes on and on in fact I've never heard of any other program where as many players shite talked their college coach as much as les players. Most of the time that never once happens.

Would love a link to just one of these comments. TIA

You're making shite up. Les players have always spoken very highly of him.

As far as ex-players, I do find it strange that coach O felt it necessary to introduce this new policy so quickly.

To the OP, maybe ryan Clark is a bit of a dick head himself?

Coach O has made it his main point to invite ex players back.

I think there's more to it than just altruism though. Thinking big picture, Ed O knows it would lead to former players being more vocal and pushing him for the head job permanently.

Because we can. What of it? Like you say-he's gone. You don't have to kiss his arse anymore. People are going to continue to therapeutically purge their ill thoughts toward Miles for the last several years of frustration and nothing you say is going to stop it. So why don't YOU just let it go?

Yep. He is pushing all the right buttons, and everyone is straight eating it up. So many Damn posters clamoring for O after winning one ball game.

O must have hired a PR firm lol

In All Fairness Miles should have made it one of his top priorities to reach out and meet and welcome former players. He failed big time with this as our former players coming back and meeting our current players says a lot to present players and recruits

Agree, yet there was a dumbass thread thanking him for his time here although he was an underachieving quitter.

And another thread wanting to honor him with a statue.
Like I said, as long as that statue depicts his finger in ear with mouth agape, tongue hanging out looking lost, yeah that would be perfect otherwise he is just another Dinardo.

How recent was that? Didnt Blackwell rip him post 1/9? Not saying it wasnt justified, but maybe Miles caught wind of it.

So with Miles gone, does this mean we finally hear about the 1/9 conspiracy?
