Who gave him the promotion to director of player personnel?

As soon as Coach O said he was bringing in former players, i knew something was wrong.

Same here.

I wonder if he was as bad as Derrick Dooley was with former players at Tennessee. Former Tennessee players couldn't stand Derrick Dooley. They called him "Derrick Dolittle" because they said he did very little but shun people that worked closely with the program.

Since Miles has left Ive been getting the feeling that he had a very carefully groomed public persona that didnt necessarily reflect reality. Even his contact with the media seemed to be willfully misleading. Nobody can really be that bad at the use of the English language.

Not sure why Les was dickish to ex players. Is it because he was somewhat of a controlling dickhead behind closed doors?

It's something I always heard.

But they didnt.. Terrance tolliver Russell sheppard honey badger rueben randall tharold Simon mettenberger lee the list goes on and on in fact I've never heard of any other program where as many players shite talked their college coach as much as les players. Most of the time that never once happens.

From all of the ex players that seemed to love coming back?

Is that where you heard it?

Or maybe it was from your personal deep dark inside source that can't be identified?

Yeah good luck getting anyone to admit that, but considering he played before I went to LSU, yes I recall plenty of people my age saying they didn't know he went to LSU when you saw him making plays for the Steelers.

Well Sabans D was pretty terrible in 01 and 02 so yeah, the safeties had to make a lot of tackles downfield.

Love it when people just completely make shite up out of thin air and convince themselves it's true.

Are you still kneeling at your Les shrine 24 hours a day?

He wasn't doing a great job the last few years, I know that's hard for you ton come to terms with. It was time for him to go.

I think he was just aloof at times. He was always friendly and personable toward me and I'm a nobody compared to former players.

It may stem from many of them stabbing him and the program in the back by siding with their coach over their program

Rightttt. Because the program needs ex players to be supportive of the current bumbling jackass of a coach.

All I care about is that Jordan Jefferson gets lots of FaceTime with our best players.

Good luck with that.

So why don't you go on? He is gone. Why do you delicate little flowers post here day after day after day still crapping on him?

Why not just get behind the current coach? Or are you people saving your bile for him too? How soon do you go after Orgeron?
You will. You know you will.

In all fairness, Ryan Clark and Les Miles aren't contemporaries at LSU. Ryan was gone a long time before Les got this job.

That is total horse shite, doesn't matter when Ryan played he gave sweat, blood and tears for LSU that in itself deserves respect, doesn't matter if they weren't in the same era or not!!!!

I wish that sentiment extended to all of the usual suspects that are always busting up on certain former quarterbacks, linebackers, et al.

I didn't hear the interview. Did Miles prevent Ryan from coming around?

eta:
Saban didn't talk to ANYBODY off the field.
